Love this design Ben. Are you able to share the approx budget ex landscaping?

The contract for this house was signed before some significant cost rises but to reproduce this home is about $4500/sqm at today's rates.

Does all the wood make it more fire-prone, Ben?

Compressed wood fibre is actually highly resistant to flames.

… and how durable is the home? Should it last longer before it needs maintenance and why? Thanks

Lime render is extremely durable compared to cement render, being self healing and vapour permeable.
The wall structure is properly weather protected by specialist membranes, that allow water vapour to escape and prevent water ingress. So you don't have the degradation from moisture that you get with lesser constructed homes. This by far the most superior method of construction available here.

    Total wall R-Value?

Great question. Combined U value is 0.24 (R4.2) with 8.2 hour phase shift.
