Hi Everyone, We hope you enjoyed our video! Which travel trailer with HUGE bathrooms did you like best? Do you prefer a small or larger travel trailer? Please say hello by leaving a comment below and sharing you opinion about these RVs!
I like the Grand Design and the Ember! I like the Grand Design for the theater seats. The Ember for the dinette removable table and storage. Thank you Mike and Susan.
Thank you and thanks so much for saying hi!!! We had such a great time this year and really felt the support from our subscribers. Was a great feeling! ❤️
People may not realize how important bathroom size is, until you have used a small one. We used an Airstream Basecamp as we were thinking about purchasing one. The wet bath worked for basics, but try and shower, dry off, get dressed in it, LOL! No, just no. Not enough room to turn around, clean yourself, it made us want to rent a hotel instead of enduring that itty bitty tiny small space. We aren’t large adults, and that was a lesson in patience.
@@RVBlogger - Oliver makes one, a wet bath, that has enough room to turn around in. Small too, but big enough to use. Haven’t tried it, but it seems functional!
So glad you found a travel trailer you loved! We thought these RVs had some pretty awesome features. Thank you for watching our RV tour video and commenting!
Hi Mike and Susan! I like the last one best. Why? Simply bc it’s the biggest! I love the bathroom and the separate bedroom area. You could put kids back in that bedroom area while adults eat and drink in the rest of the camper! Perfect! ❤️💜💚
You asked so here goes. You get what you pay for. # 1 it’s ok. # 2 you might get a couple of camping season from it before it ends up with a for sale sign on it in a used car lot. # 3 by far is the best one especially with the windows. The rest of it looks great. Great video thanks 👍👍
Thanks Scott! We always appreciate your opinion! Ember has done a great job with their floor plans and unique features. I'm looking forward to seeing more of them! Thanks for your support!
Like the Ember the best but not a fan of the Murphy bed. We would probably replace the mattress with a non-foldable mattress and keep the bed down all the time but would miss the typical underbed storage without building something that could replicate underbed storage. Great video!
I love the idea of a Murphy bed because of it's multi-use function but I haven't slept on one yet to judge. The mattresses could be less than desirable. We suggest flipping the mattress around once it's down so the fold isn't in an awkward place. 🤷♀️ Thank you for the kind words and our support! ❤️
We purchased a Coachman Clipper 17ft CFQ this year, and although it's a small camper, the bathroom is exceptionally roomy, and was one of the selling points for us, and now that we have used it several times, we continue to be happy with our choice. Some of the finishes of the camper themselves appear somewhat sloppy and cheap, but the bathroom is a winner for an affordable camper.
So glad you are happy with your Coachmen Clipper! It is an awesome size bath. You can always touch up or mend the areas that need help...you can't make a bigger bathroom. Great decision! Thank you for your support! ❤️
@@RVBlogger you are exactly right. It's too bad, though that the manufacturers don't take a little more pride in their workmanship. Fortunately my boyfriend is handy and can accommodate my ideas and suggestions to which their are no end😊 Appreciate your blog and reviews I've learned alot.
Like #1 best but would have loved to have seen main bedroom. . Love counter space and window in kitchen. Does couch Jack knife to a bed?? Wasted area for drink holder in the center of couch, it already has two cup holders on the arms. Does dinette make a bed too??
Sorry I overlooked the main bedroom when I was editing. 🤦♀️ The couch doesn't jack knife, it's only theater seating. Agree the drink holder in the center doesn't make sense. Yes the dinette does convert into a bed, for one, in our opinion. Thank you for watching our RV tour video and commenting!
We have two videos about travel trailers that come equipped with washer/dryer hookups. Maybe this will help your research. ruclips.net/video/t9XxXHIJXNo/видео.html Thank you for watching our RV tour video and commenting!
We don't sell RVs only tour and review them. The MSRP is around $48k but dealerships are very negotiable. Thank you for watching our RV tour video and commenting. We appreciate your support!
Those are great RV upgrades an owner can do as long as you don't increase your GVWR too much. Smaller campers typically have less CCC. Thank you for watching our RV tour video and commenting!
We are unaware of any travel trailer manufacturers that are converting to wheelchair accessible. Newmar and Winnebago currently have Class A and Class B floor plans that are designed for wheelchair compatibility. We have an article that might help your research. rvblogger.com/blog/6-best-handicap-accessible-rvs/ You can have a chair lift installed in an RV to help you get in. I'll include a link to a company we are a little familiar with to give you some idea. www.coachlift.com/ Please feel free to ask any questions. Grand Design had one decked out sofa!! I really liked all these options. They’re too large for me to handle alone but man these were nice!! I would choose any of these over most tiny houses. Especially , at these prices 🎉
The sofa in the Grand Design Imagine XLS 23LDE is pretty sweet! You're right these are awesome tiny homes on wheels. Thank you for watching our RV tour video and commenting. We appreciate your support!
Unfortunately yes. The shower is raised in order to accommodate the shower trap in the plumbing. Usually the manufacturer will install a sky light in the shower to help increase shower height. Sometimes it's not enough. Thanks for watching our RV tour video and commenting.
I knew there was a reason I liked you so much Joseph! 🤣 My oldest grandchild will be 10 next month 😲 They keep me feeling young! Thank you for your support! ❤️

This Grand Design is my favorite trailer. Just wish it had a convection oven and an induction cooktop. Otherwise, it's perfect. I am sorry they sold out. They had such a good reputation.
We love the Grand Design floor plan too. Having a convection oven and induction cooktop would be a great modification. What do you mean by "they sold out"? Thank you for watching our RV tour video and commenting. We appreciate your support!
My Comment was about boondocking with an all electric fridge, ( not in a RV Park with electric plug-in). I personally would be very worried about enjoying the great outdoors and the fridge depleting the batteries in a couple of days. I would only be comfortable with a roof full of solar panels and then portable panels lined up outside plugged in the auxiliary outlet on RV with a large number of batteries. I live in Alaska in the spring and summer and I know full well the sun does not shine all the time. I've have experience up there for 32 years. An all electric fridge no matter the "efficiency" seems like a real crap shoot to me. Tell me I'm wrong about all electric compressor refrigerator and battery usage for many of us who plan to avoid RV parks and the crowds and cost. What am I unaware of ?
Oh...most trailers with a 12 v fridge come with at least a 100W solar panel on the roof. But of course you would need to know how your battery recharges before boondocking. In Alaska you would need a generator to recharge your battery when boondocking due to the lack of sunshine. Pretty simple.

Disappointing video -- was hoping to see a larger shower if there is a larger bathroom.
I like the Grand Design and the Ember! I like the Grand Design for the theater seats. The Ember for the dinette removable table and storage. Thank you Mike and Susan.
You are welcome Sherri! Those 2 stood out to us too! Loving the unique floor plans that Ember is coming out with! Thank you!
I have always loved the mid bathroom , the first jayco I had was the best we ever had, but the mid bathroom is wonderful thanks Mike and Susan ,
I have to agree with you. It's not a bad setup at all. Thanks Mildred, we appreciate your support! ❤️
The Grand Design, no master bedroom show and tell. Thanks for the video..
Oh no!!! I don't know how I missed that 🤦♀️Thanks Gigi!
Thanks again Susan and Mike, great reviews.

What is the width of the shoe cubbie countertop iin the kitchen by the entry door in the 1st camper? XLS 23LDE?
It's a pretty decent size. Maybe 2' x 1 1/2' and at least a foot tall. Thank you for watching our RV tour video and commenting!
@@RVBlogger thanks, but the countertop... would you say it was about 20" wide by 3 feet long?
yes probably an accurate measurement. The shoe opening was the full length but pretty close.@@commonsenseguy8189

Is there a technical reason all trailer showers must be on a platform? Seems like they could feel less cramped for us 6'4" people without it.
