An Important CNC Business Tip You Need To Know

- Опубликовано: 5 июл 2024
- You got a CNC router to make woodworking projects to sell so you can make money with your CNC machine. Starting a CNC business is exciting and scary, and many people struggle because they focus solely on making money. An abundance mindset is crucial for success.
This mindset helps us recognize that there's always more to learn, and it's the first step toward building a successful business. If we chase money, we'll never catch it. Instead, focus on growth, learning, and value. Stress about money indicates a need for a mindset shift.
This is where mentors come in. They’ve been there and can guide us to where our mindset needs to change. Embrace an abundance mindset and set a solid foundation for your CNC business.
Also covered in this video is about doing sanding work to finish your CNC router projects.

Got 3!!
Clay from Cincinnati… got two sets today. Liberty is awesome!
I like it that your videos aren't scripted. This one meant a lot to me personally. It was like you were talking to me directly, you know my back story. I know I'm not spending as much time on my CNC work like I need to too be successful. I'm trying to help my son with his retail business. I have sold some projects through his store and have had some commissioned projects as well. I need to get my Esty store going soon.
My problem, real or imagined, is I keep letting life get in my way. Videos that you make like this one seems to get my sprits back up. Thank you my friend.
Harold Mayberry
BHWoodcrafters, I really appreciate your kind words, Harold. It's great to hear that my videos resonate with you and help lift your spirits. Finding a balance between personal commitments and pursuing your passion can be challenging, but remember to make time for what brings you joy. Good luck with your Etsy store and your woodworking projects!
"Business Mentoring Program" for CNC'rs ? That sounds pretty exciting, Garret ! And Yes, you're quite right - everything is about Identity, or what I call it "Everything's in the Upper Floor" (meaning - in my Head). We all need a general change of perspective - from "struggling and chasing" to a perspective of abundance ! Thank you so much for this epiphany !
alexandervasilev6403, I'm glad you found the idea of a business mentoring program exciting! It's true that shifting your perspective can make a big difference. Wishing you success with your CNC projects!
This is all so true!!! And yes, a mentor would be awesome. Even regional to local mentors that we could go to for advice...
ResoluteCrafts, I couldn't have said it better myself brother!
Garrett:
Nice video, well said. Hard lesson to learn. Practice your craft, learn as you go and have some fun.
natureblessed8408, Thanks for watching! Definitely, practice makes perfect in woodworking. And remember to enjoy the process and not just focus on the end result. Keep up the good work!

I’m interested. My Longmill MK2 will be arriving on Wednesday! So excited! What should I purchase next? I’m thinking dust collection. Your thoughts?
tamarathompson8001, Congratulations on your new Longmill MK2! Dust collection is a great choice for your next purchase to keep your workspace clean and your lungs protected. Make sure to get a system that fits the size and power of your CNC machine for optimal performance. Happy woodworking!
Yes. Definitely want something like that. I am wanting to take the leap and would love a mentor. Thank you for the offer
joejames3929, That's great to hear! Thanks for sharing your interest brother.
When I grew up my father owned a successful business. When I saw the hours he put in I knew I didn’t want anything to do with it. I CNC for pleasure. I have friends and family request projects. I gladly make them (not all CNC) but never charge $. I fear money would take the fun out of woodworking. I want it to be my relaxation not my job.
If you are using your hobby to make money please don’t let it become work. Bless you all.
DougWichman, It's wonderful that you have found a way to enjoy woodworking without turning it into a job. Keeping it as a hobby can definitely help maintain the joy and relaxation it brings you. Your approach is truly admirable. Keep creating and enjoying the process!
Please do a mentoring program! 👍👍👍
trwalters001, I appreciate your interest in learning more. Stay tuned for any updates or tutorials I may share in the future. Happy woodworking!
