What a Great video, can you make a video showing how to replace the Upper cord hook on a Hoover Windtunnel Supreme. I bought a new upper cord hook and I can't fiqure out to get the old lose upper hook off.
Man, I haven't done one of those in a while. I will say this... the cord hook on an old-school Windtunnel just clips in with plastic clips. To get it out, you need to gently pry where it attaches. Go slow and us a plastic pry tool if possible to avoid damage. Give that a try and let me know how it goes!
Hi Matt, Great video. It is a shame that you have to repeat your disclaimer at the beginning but believe me I understand why it has to be done. Sometimes a little knowledge is dangerous, and people get in over their heads thinking they know but they really do not know. Anyway, as always your videos are a pleasure to spend time watching. Why would the owner want the cord shortened? The cords on these Tempo based Windtunnel's are already too short as it is, if it was me, I would want spend the money for a longer cord.
I'm saving your video for reference when I repair my vacuum cleaner cord. Again, thank you..
I found your video very helpful. Thank you for sharing your knowledge.
These probably are some of the best budget machines
I agree!
These were an amazing value when they were still on the market. We paid about $80 for my aunts Tempo, she easily got 7-8 years out of it!
Indeed, they were a lot of vacuum for the money at the time!
How hard is to replace the power switch on them that keeps short circuiting can there be a video on how to replace that power switch on a tempo
Do they make those vacuum cleaners?

Thanks, I'm glad you enjoyed it! Yes, I am a little cautious when it comes to disclaimers... just in case!
This is quite entertaining. Is there a school to teach u this profession? Great video 👍
Thanks! No school... just lots and lots of vacuum repairs!
I have been doing that for years. I was unaware anybody else did this. Great stuff !
Thanks! Yeah, you only dig into those a few times before you start looking for shortcuts, ha!

I totally agree! However, it did save them $15... but still...
