My parents both met in the 9th grade, and they got married after my dad came home from Vietnam War in 1968.

My family pet died June 2020
My oldest brother was murder on August 27, 2020(shot and killed in front his baby boy at 7-Eleven store)

My cousin, Abby, just recently passed away in a house fire in January. She was only 18 and we know she loved The Lord. She is definitely HOME! I cry anytime I hear this song because I miss my cousin but I know she's with Jesus. That little glass house on the floor that lights on fire in the music video is like so incredible it is in this music video. My cousin died from smoke inhalation in her bathroom and that little part of the music video is like God telling us she's home. I am so happy she is in her forever home but I miss her so much and hurt so much. Chris' music got me thru the hard times and I listened to his music while writing a speech I had spoke at her funeral. Thank you Chris for your music. God bless!

My brother passed away from Covid pneumonia last week. In trying to find a celebration of his life and his entrance into Heaven ... I found this. My heart is broken into pieces with his loss, but this song gives me the reminder that my brother is happy, healthy and rejoicing in Heaven and waiting for us all there. My mom had the same thing & she's restored now been with the Lord 24 years! I can't wait to Join her. I have rheumatoid arthritis & I can't wait to be out of pain!!!
My grandma recently passed she had lekumia for 10 years, and she was a powerful follower of Christ, when she died my Uncle had a vision of her in heaven running like a little girl and sitting on the right hand of God, Praise Jesus!!!!

Grandma just passed away last week this was one of the last songs she remembers singing in church before transitioning to hospice. My sisters and I, at her request will be singing this during the service.
First time I have heard this song!! I am a Christian and believe these great words. I have a special relative that is dealing with a life ending cancer diagnosis. She will experience all of this sooner than her plan, however we need to accept that this is God's plan. Please pray for her!
When I was 10 I used to watch this video and be like ‘What does this mean?’ Not that I didn’t know what a Christian was because I knew what it was but I never took up and really thought about it. As I got older I soon realized what it truly means! And now I am 15 years old and realizing what it means to be a Christian and to live for God and truly understand what it means. I rewatched this video and now I realized what it means by saying ‘I am on my way home!’ God I love you! 😭🥹

Amen we will all be on our way home my moms uncle died recently and we just had a funeral for him more like a celebration of life, but it was kind of both, and one of my mom’s uncles friend. He felt a nudge from the Lord telling him it’s time to ask him the question you’ve been wanting to ask him for a while. so he asked he said Clyde which is my mom’s uncle that died I’m gonna ask you something that I asked my dad. Are you ready to go home go to heaven. He said I’m not really sure. Then he asked him if you had the chance would you wanna go see Jesus without a blink of an eye immediately said yes. I know he is with the Lord.
We lost our son suddenly and unexpectedly at age 33 on June 21st. Our younger son picked this song to play on his memorial photo slide. it was perfect.

This was my daughter's favorite song before she passed along with her daughter. Both at hands of an assassin. It was my worst nightmare. I find much comfort knowing she accepted the Lord early in her life. I know she and my grandchild are now Gone Home. Love and miss them tremendously.
Home....whenever I hear that word it lets me think of two things.
1. My beautiful house with my family and hug at every turn.
2. Heaven where Jesus waits for every one of us and the loving eyes of God who looks at us with mercy.
We played this song to my nan on her last night before she went to be with the Lord. Just before that, my aunty had found Revelation 21 which talks about the golden streets of heaven, as mentioned in this song, and we read that to my nan. Earlier that day our pastor had read a similar verse to nan from Hebrews which spoke of the glory of God. We hadn't planned any of that but we felt God guiding us individually to this song and the two readings which just happened to fit in perfectly before any of us had told another about the verse or song they had found. It's hard to believe it's been a month since she left us and the entire family miss her so much but I thank God that I can always look back to that last night and instead of just pain and loss, there is also a feeling of joy as I can see how he planned things to fit in so perfectly and I know that my nan is now with him. I'll see you when my journey finishes nan. You will always be loved and missed.

And my mom’s aunt is in the hospital and we’re not sure if she’s gonna make it either she’s barely eating. She’s just not doing things a person would normally do when they’re getting better I think they said that she is getting worse and that they are probably gonna take her off life-support I don’t really know all the details, but I know one thing they’re going home to heaven, and I know the Lord will take care of them.
This is the song I chose for my son Angel Rivera minutes before passing away it was his favorite song. He was 17 years old and a heart transplant he was recovering from having his second surgery, an artificial heart and wasn't able to make it out of this one. He loved Jesus!

I have a short story for anybody here that likes to read this kind of stuff. My life has been a mixed one ever since I was born, i was born into a christian family and raised with them, gradually as my life moved on and i got into my teenage years i hit a stage in my life where i met some "friends" that were not very good, but i didnt want to believe that because sin had blinded my eyes. I spent lots of time with them from 13 until a few weeks ago, we did unspeakable things... i cursed, i took drugs, i smoked, everything in my life was headed the wrong direction, until one day when i was talking to one of my friends from the church i attend and somehow that night God used His great power to talk to me through her and that night i prayed the most relieving prayer of my life. I am now 17 and I felt the weight of all my life lifted off me that day, I am still a sinner because everybody is... but God is merciful enough to have chosen me to be one of His followers

I remember the morning I first heard this song. My dad had been diagnosed with prostate cancer a year prior. He was slowly dying. I was crying and praying to the Lord asking for him to heal my dad. And then this song came on. I called my mom crying and telling her to listen to the song. I told her I felt like God was saying he was going to be going home. My dad passed away 7/25/2017 . On 7/24/2019 my mother was murdered. Just a day before my dad's 2 year death date. My son sang this song for my mom's funeral. God shows us signs when asked.

Hello, myself and our whole family have been praying very hard for my Son-In-Law Sam. He is in need of a kidney transplant and he is only 28 years old.His kidneys are only working at 5%. He does home dialysis every night. Him and my daughter live here with us as well as there 1 1/2 year old daughter.Sam is in a huge amount of pain, as he also just had to have removed a tumor that was growing on his vertebra. We have not yet found out if it is cancerous or not. I would love if you could say a little prayer for him we would all be very grateful.

I played this march 2017 my mom passed away from a brain operation. I miss my best friend I love her and miss her so much! This song always touches my heart she is def happy I'm just being selfish and need my mom here sometimes, Iwasnt able to go see him in concert Bc of everything that happened this year but I will be there at the Pensacola bay center next yr for sure with my 6 yr old son like I told mom I'd do last yr.. but her operation wasn't expected to fail..... I was working in my wood shop on May 2. Listening to Christian music and this song came on. I could not continue to work, I had to stop and listen carefully. My mother was laying in bed on her last. She has been wanting to go for a while, especially since her husband died and then her brother died couple years later. Ma passed on at 2 am the next morning. My cousins son officiated the grave side service and it was perfect down to this song, “Home”, being played. Thank you Chris, your music was here for my family at the perfect time. God Bless You... On April 20,2022, I lost my uncle to liver disease and I dedicate this song to him. I was in Charlotte, North Carolina for a whole week. My uncle is home. He's with his mother and father. My dad cried and I felt bad for him. I went up to North Carolina with him for support and he was stressed out. I remember when I went to go visit him and his friend up in the mountains and I even went golfing with him too. He shall be missed. RIP Uncle Joey Shipman (1961-2022) He was 61 years old. I love you a lot, Uncle Joey. You were a great uncle. I was going through a tough time with my family for a while. I ask everyone who's reading this to keep my family and I in y'alls prayers.
