She's the leader of Purplow, a group that has 3 main dancers who are easily in my ultimate top 10 favourite dancers of all time. Not to mention, Honey J also made Hyoyeon's choreography and she won on that episode. I respect Bora, but Honey J is a god. You can't compare them.

This is what I love about Goddess Bora!!! Whenever she dances it's always clean and precise! And she doesn't just dance, they were given a concept or theme and she communicated her art with the audience through her expressions and movement. I must say, this was my favorite "Devils" concept out of everyone. It's so chill and enticing, yet you kinda feel like something wicked is slowly crawling on you. it was that kind of feeling, like they're casting a spell on you... like being bewitched! I also love how minimal the props and production are 👍👏 Hope Bora can show more of her dancing skills!
guys i just want to let you know not to be upset that honey j is doing the dance better than bora. its only natural that she would since shes been dancing a long time, not onlt that,but thats her own choreography that she made for them. honey j style of dancing is hard to perfect. many choreogrphers have their own personally style to their own choreo, so like i said its only naturaly that she would look best doing it. dont be too worried about it or upset. bora did really well and kept up with honey j. i love honey j and i even did a cover of hr choreography and it was hard to learn lol. took me three or four months to learn. while bora probably had a fe weeks. thats really good.

Honey J is clearly the better dancer but that's obviously to be expected. Look at 1:08-1:12, for example. See how strong and precise she is compared to Bora?
why do you think because we think different we are haters? some of us are giving our perspectives as viewers, and as a viewer I have to say Bora's movements weren't as sharp as her partner Honey. More than mistakes I would say some steps were done in different ways, for example 0:37 Honey opened her legs, looking in diagonal, in other hand Bora did that looking at the front 1:05 Bora didn't lift her hips as fluid as Bora, it even looked tense. Don't get me wrong, it was an OK performance.
I think no two dancers are ever the same. While HoneyJ might have more control of her movements, Bora's slightly more fluid movements and better facial expression made her more seductive than HoneyJ. In that sense I'd say HoneyJ is more witch-like but Bora was the more dangerous witch.The camera makes it very difficult to judge this stuff. I'm really happy that they are now releasing rehearsal videos with an anchored camera and the full stage in frame.

Thank god she did so much better than the teaser they gave.... I think she did an okay job, I just don't think she went all out. Although the dance was slow and the choreo was simple yet enticing
the dance is actually very sensual rather than slow and the moves has a lot of techniques to it if you watch it carefully and not actually that simple 😊

choreo just seems to be simple cuz they do it easily (it just hoe it looks like). If you try to repeat this dance you will notice that this dance is very detailed and needs sharpness

Anyone could do the dance but without the technique the choreo isn't "danced" and will look tragic because of how easy the steps are. If you dance an easy dance with good technique it will look "complicated".

its kinda understandable since Bora havent had a proper chance in showing her potential in dancing (yea she still does special dance stages and all) unlike Honey J who danced every second she gets for the past how many years and thats why Honey is sharp in dancing and Bora just a tad bit lacking.
+Natasha Azmin well that's why they had practices. When dancing with a partner it's important to focus on equalizing their movements in order to prevent one from dominating/overshadowing the other (which I assumed HJ should have known) ...either way choreography wise this one is number 1 for me.
People are always saying Bora is overrated because of her looks. Which I agree on, since it's what she gets most attention for. However, her dance and rap skills are so underrated, most likely because Starship doesn't make songs for SISTAR which needs a lot of rap lines. She's not /the best/ rapper, but she's good and has a unique voice. I'm glad she was finally able to show her dance skills though, still one of my fav performances of the whole series.

@@Riisssaaa exactly. Honey J is a dancer, her dance is better but Bora is an idol. Her facial expressions were trained. They can compare the dance, but Bora will still be better at the facial expressions
this video is better than having the reaction because it's supposed to be hit the stage not reaction... however Bora looks superb here and her dancing skills is good...

Yeah... Sometimes it gets annoying because you wanted to enjoy the dance but suddenly it gets cut due to inserting reactions well, I will just wait for a video like this next time. 😊

Thank god she did so much better than the teaser they gave.... I think she did an okay job, I just don't think she went all out. Although the dance was slow and the choreo was simple yet enticing
the dance is actually very sensual rather than slow and the moves has a lot of techniques to it if you watch it carefully and not actually that simple 😊
+아음 you're right it is sensual (that was the word I was looking for) yes the technique is there and if she would have missed a beat, it would have gone all wrong so props for her but the choreo itself is easy for someone of her skill level though

choreo just seems to be simple cuz they do it easily (it just hoe it looks like). If you try to repeat this dance you will notice that this dance is very detailed and needs sharpness
+Nazerke Ataeva that's where the technique comes in, the choreo is easy but when you put in technique into it, that's where the sharpness comes in. Anyone could do the dance but without the technique the choreo isn't "danced" and will look tragic because of how easy the steps are. If you dance an easy dance with good technique it will look "complicated".

Yup her partner stole the spotlight(imo) this perf has the most focus on the "back up" dancer even though there is only one (ironically)
yeah it kinda got on my nerves. On the first time watching i even forgot that itwas supposed to be about Bora and not HJ :/

+Tias Dwi Kurnia I'm not saying they danced bad... This is not a dance group show the focus are on the IDOLS. It's obvious the professional dancer did better but that affects Bora because she is suppose to be the focus 😒
its kinda understandable since Bora havent had a proper chance in showing her potential in dancing (yea she still does special dance stages and all) unlike Honey J who danced every second she gets for the past how many years and thats why Honey is sharp in dancing and Bora just a tad bit lacking.
+Natasha Azmin well that's why they had practices. When dancing with a partner it's important to focus on equalizing their movements in order to prevent one from dominating/overshadowing the other (which I assumed HJ should have known) ...either way choreography wise this one is number 1 for me.

People are always saying Bora is overrated because of her looks. Which I agree on, since it's what she gets most attention for. However, her dance and rap skills are so underrated, most likely because Starship doesn't make songs for SISTAR which needs a lot of rap lines. She's not /the best/ rapper, but she's good and has a unique voice. I'm glad she was finally able to show her dance skills though, still one of my fav performances of the whole series.
Her rap part is always catchy
