I believe tab A9 doesn't have the screen which has the technology for pens with palm rejection, so it's why the official spen won't work as these pens use that technology thats in the screen (i think it called wacom). The Tab S6 lite or Tab S9 fe has this feature. That pen you got emulates your finger, I had one that's similar but didn't like it as it was laggy to use and didn't have palm rejection. Hope this helps.
I would love to see annotation videos 😊 I’m also curious how you decide to read on which device?do you cycle through them or grab whichever one your feeling at the moment? I have found myself now with 4 eink devices, my iPhone and iPad. And I enjoy each of them and different aspects of each other.
If u want the Samsung tabs with Wacom technology and S-Pens including palm rejection and pen driven U.I. the cheapest u can get is the galaxy Tab 6 Lite 2024 edition, however the 2022 is very similair and probably much cheaper. u can also use actual Wacom pens with it like the Wacom One pen. :) Samsung also sells tablet for cheaper if u give them your current one.
thinking about getting this as well for annotating books and pdfs…i do have an ipad pro and a kindle though, so i need to convince myself 🥲 are you gonna make a review of this tablet? 🙈
@minapokie if you think of annotating books and you can save money, the Tab S9 fe or an older tab s7 fe would be the way to go. As it gives you spen support. Which this Tablet doesn't have.
@thebooknookcorner1153 no worries 👍 👌. I understand it's more expensive however. I won't recommend the Tab s6 lite as I had it and now the screen has burn in issue and lots of people said the same

Real, I got a S9 FE for black friday, and I LOVE IT. Its my first display-like set up and iI can definitely see this being my daily driver for now.
@@mokujii_2102 Oooooo!!!! Did you get the S pen as well?
For the stickers I’ve used washi tape to stick them on without leaving residue and then I can easily take them off and switch them out
