    Even though his voice at 14 wasn't in tune and cracking due to going through puberty, you can still hear a germ of talent in his singing.

      His voice had nice tonal qualities even back then.

    • @willbros1499
      @willbros1499 Год назад +17

      More than a germ....you can already feel the emotion in the parts that weren't falsetto, which was really the only part he was struggling with. His standard register was a bit airy and thin, but where most wannabe singers fail (I'm one) is with lacking the ability to have intrigue in their voice. You could already hear he was going to possess that, and that's arguably the most important attribute to ever being a distinguished vocalist.

    Seriously, this is something kids need to hear - you don't have to be born with something to get good at it. Life is a journey and along the way you can get good at things you weren't before. As the years go by, you can also forget things you used to be good at, but that's a different story 😄

    Actually, it wasn't lack of a good voice or experience, he was 14 which is when most boys voices are crackly and are changing and they haven't figured out what level they are at yet, so saying, he learned how to sing isn't actually correct in that he was going thru puberty. He had to get out of it and four years later obviously when he was 18 his voice had settled into what it is now.

    It's ridiculous. When you learn to play the guitar the first three chords everyone learns are A, E and D. There are so many songs that use those chords in the same sequence the whole song. For example, La Bamba and Twist and Shout, both have the same chord progression, and sound similar.
