Sheikh Al Shuyukh is a good scent. It is lux (no pun intended). I imagine a well-dressed Middle-Eastern manager or business visiting their overseas business; everyone is encouraged by them and can sense and feel the professionalism they exude.

I fully agree with you, this has a very definite oud scent, I do quite like the sweetness that develops on the dry down, to my nose it almost smells a little boozy but it could just be the Caramel mixing with the dry warm woody notes. I prefer the dry down on this, that strong oud and heat at the beginning is really challenging for me, I have the same 'problem' with Rose D'prive, eventhough the rose in it is the best I've smelt and I absolutely love and I wish I could soak myself in that rose scent alone, the strong incense, smokey dry warmth completely takes over and I don't think I can pull it off, and it makes me hesitate reaching for these scent profiles 😅 Are these types of perfumes intended to perform well/be at their best in warmer seasons or colder seasons?

Khaltat is more sour and slightly sweet.. this one is sweet but oudy. Both are unisex leaning feminine. The two are very different from each other so it’s going to be a matter of preference 😍

Hey Cee! I'm a long time subscriber but this is my first comment. I honestly would like to ask your opinion on Sheikh Al Shuyukh. For me, it smelled like kerosene! Or some sort of petroleum chemical. I don't know if it's the rose + the oud + the cinnamon or what. Normally, I like fragrances with these notes (sometimes not so much rose for me), but this one is a little disappointing. Should I let it macerate? Does it change over time?
It can definitely happen with that perfume, I do think it gets better with time. In that perfume it could be the Oud… Oud can be a hit or miss for some 🥰

I'm currently obsessed but my backup bottle disappointed me. It doesn't have the intense caramel, sugary vanilla that shines through the oud n cinnamon... My backup bottle only smells like cinnamon, ambrixin, amber and a tint of vanilla 😭
Hey Ruth. This one is my scent of the day. I like how it quickly tones down as opposed to Oud mood. After two hours this one stops suffocating me. I’m slowly loving this one ❤️
This one is cheaper but not similar to 212 VIP women at all. This one is slightly oudy so if you’ll manage that you may try it just for the affordability aspect.
This one is a watered down version. Plus the lasting power on this one is so-so. I don’t think it’s necessary to have both unless you find Oud mood too strong ❤️
Is there a fragrance you might know that smells just like the mid-base notes of this fragrance? I’ve gotten glimpses of the caramel/amber/vanilla and I adore it so much however it’s drowned out by this awfully strong jammy rose cinnamon that is too much for me and the latter are basically the only accords I get the whole time unfortunately.

You describe them so well, I hope you have more reviews of the Mideast fragrances. One thing about perfumes is I never know which is winter /fall and which is for spring / summer... with that which is good for office wear and which is good just for the clubs
I bought Sheikh Al Shuyukh Luxe Edition Perfume in the 30ml to test as it had all the notes I really like. Its gorgeous, I love it and so does my husband. Straight away I turned around and ordered the 100ml bottle. I have just started my journey with middle eastern perfumes and I have to say Wow to the quality and price. Great video.
