When I first started watching your paintings, I wondered why you made cell-colored art on canvas with paints. I figured it must have been due to some media preference due to texture. After taking a class in color theory, I finally have better understanding why you chose painting, and your color choices. I've also learned how to determine the 7 colors in your paintings in this series. It's like one line in a book that made all the chapters before it finally make sense, and it's magical.

I was wondering how you get that blush effect on your work. i see you using a screen of some kind and a paint brush, are you just dipping the brush in paint and applying it with the screen? or are you using some form of powder?
Faith Cole that technique is basically tooth brush and screen. you dip toothbrush in watery paint and just screen it on canvas
I just found a video using a similar technique and they sell the screens here in the US.

Every time I see you do another piece of art on your canvas and it motivates me to do more. I also feel so satisfied when you peel off the tape to reveal a sharp, perfectly curved line but It also makes me respect your patience a lot. Putting down all that tape must be a lot of work and could be really annoying If you didn't enjoy what you were doing. Plus I love the way you layer the hi light shades on top. It really works since the paint is transparent. Do you dilute the paint with water or mixing mediums? Do you prefer heavy body or light body acrylic paint?

how do you cut masking tape to fit exactly your art?

True, but many people don't use it as it is *very* expensive and has a tendency to take off bits of paper and paint if you lay it on too thick.
Moon Moon I think there was a scene in another video using those x-acto knives directly onto the canvas.
Patience, a very sharp craft knife, and little pressure.

How on Earth do cut the pieces of tape to be soo neat? You must use a lot of tape!! And cut sooooo many small pieces! And you have to make sure the width of the tape is PERFECT!
