I am a little confused. We had a marvelous vacation in Llandeilo in March 2019. It is a beautiful town, very friendly with an abundance of things to do. This video inspired me before we went. I didn't know how to pronounce 'Llandeilo', but I figured the guy in this video was doing it right. I was corrected very quickly by locals. They told me the Ll is much more Kl than Jsh, as he pronounces it. I am always interested in accents and pronunciations. Why the difference?
En Bretagne, en centre Finistère, il y a également Landeleau 😘👍😊

A peculiar pronunciation of Llandeilo.
Chris Jones, ydych chi'n dod o rywle yn y Gogledd? Mi glywais y bobl leol yn dweud, "Llan-DAI-lo" yn lle "Llan-DEI-lo."
It is worth pointing out that Welsh speakers have a distinct accent when speaking English..... is that a problem? I don't think so!
I would love to hear how that comment sounds when spoken.......
Great video of my home town!
Is it a mostly Welsh speaking town?
@@orangeedo I was there in March. Half of the people I met were English. I heard a little Welsh, but not much.
