  • When it comes to lifting clamps, there are plenty of options. However, when choosing a clamp, how do you know you’re picking the correct one for your lifting applications?
To answer this question properly, we took a trip out to Rockford, Illinois, Caldwell Lifting Solutions headquarters, to chat with engineering manager Dale Kelly to find out what you need to know before choosing a clamp.

What type of clamp can be used for Diamond Plate or a Painted / Coated surface that you don’t want to damage ? Thanks .

There is 1 option. (a sample of the plate would be needed for testing and it would be dependent on the WLL) A non-marring clamp with Rubberized pads may work. Caldwell Renfroe has a model NMBL with K22 rubber pads. They can conform to the diamond plate (depending on the height of the diamond). You can contact the Mazzella Lifting and Rigging Division here for help www.mazzellacompanies.com/company/contact-us/contact-rigging-division/ or check out jcrenfroe.com/ and you can contact Dale Kelly.
