Fantastic reaction to the new MV from Courtz. I love the symbolism in the video that matched the lyrics, with all the different sides of her personality (clown, nerd, social media addict, heavy rocker...). Someone else told me that the group dance scene at the end was a homage to Rocky Horror. A fun video, with a powerful message, and a fun reaction too.
Hi Neal. Good to have you back on a Courtney reaction. It's been awhile. Courtney is simply a phenomenal talent. The best I've ever seen. Talent doesn't have an age limit and so it doesn't matter that she is only 19. The things that she can do vocally are simply astounding. She can take a song to places other artists can only dream of reaching. The most incredible thing is that she can do it across multiple genres, and no matter the genre, there is never any drop off to the incredible quality of her music. Just look at the four brilliant originals she has released this year. First was a gorgeous, gritty ballad called 'Breakable. Then a sensational uptempo jazzy number with a touch of almost 1940s Swing called 'That Girl Doesn't Live Here'. Next was the emotion filled, intense 'Call Me Back' that will break your heart every time you hear it. Now there's this spectacular rock anthem, 'Monsters'. Listen to this, and the way Courtney can bend notes and belt out the song rivals any rock we've ever heard. No one can rock a song or a stage like Courtney. The lyrics to her originals are as incredible as her vocals are. She is such a powerhouse as a songwriter. It's never has been a question of 'If' for Courtney, but simply 'when' she will become a star. With music like she has released this year, that day appears to be not very far away. I noticed that you have yet to react to one of the originals that Courtney has released this year. It's 'Call Me Back', referenced above. It's a sensational song and one that I think both that you will love and also one that will make a great reaction. It is available on Courtney's RUclips channel. For now, we need to all listen, stream and share this magnificent rock masterpiece as much as possible so that we can drive this spectacular song to the top of the charts across the world and keep it there. This song is so good, that everyone on the planet needs to hear it. 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Nice reaction. Thank you. Courtney brings her incomparable voice, her cleverness, and her unique sense of humor to a serious topic and melds them together in a seriously kick-ass rocker! Courtney is absolutely unique.
The monsters are hiding under my bed because they are terrified by the monsters in my head. My favorite part of her song is when she says we all need each other. People say you can't help someone else until you take care of yourself first. I disagree. I think the only way to find healing and become whole is by helping others even when you can't take care of yourself. We need each other.
Thanks, Neal, always a great reaction. There's a lot to say but the biggest thing is what you said--Courtney is a star! As an independent artist she can make her own music, but it is slower on her own. So she has a GoFundMe with a goal of 20000 to allow her to come to America and finish her album with producer Kevin Bowe. She has over 19000 so she needs just a few more donations to get her there!
Courtney is now an independent artist and has released 4 singles this year upto October 2023. See her youtube channel for all her new releases. You can also subscribe and join her channel for future new music.
