To those who don’t understand: The kid under the mask is who these bullies are talking about.(his name is auggie and he has a face disorder) and the mummy is auggies best friend and only friend. (Jack Will) And auggie told Jack will he was dressing up as something else, not ghostface. So when the ghostface walked in, Jack will didn’t think it was auggie so he continued to talk behind his back and say that he would kill himself if he looked like auggie.
This made me cry, not everyone can be the same and sometimes that’s actually a good thing.Those kids might be normal but a small heart, auggie is a little different with a massive heart!♥️
This is why kids need to be in an environment where they can feel the physical and emotional pain of others so they can then make comments with knowledge which, 9 out of 10 times, would be a compliment

i loved this book and the movie! i was in 6th grade, and when i read the title of this book i thought it was gonna be some boring book about…boring stuff lol. but when I actually looked inside and read it, it was kinda interesting. true meaning of never judge a book by its cover lol
