Wow...Amazing... Topic on longitude and latitude on distance along small circles well covered....I have liked your explanation... May you continue enlightening Kenyan students.... Have displayed the video to my students and they have really enjoyed the lesson.... Gods blessings brother Boniface.
The conclusion that you made at the end regarding the "Shortest distance between point P and Q along the latitude" - I had a point to mention regarding that. In this case the shortest distance between point P and Q is going through great circle. But that may not be always true as you concluded like it is a generalized solution. Just do the calculation with Longitude = 112 degrees E. You will not find going from Point P to Q along great circle is not shortest. Moreover, you made an error in the calculating at 42:12. The distance is 6698.42 KM and not 8698.42 KM as you did.
Beautiful clear and concise, love your work!
thank you

Help please
Good work mwalimu 🤝
Thank you
Wow, I really enjoy the class
Thank you so much
Well done my dear brother, keep it up. What about for places with different latitude and longitude how can we determine the distance? Thank You!!!
Hello @goitom kfle. Thanks for your comments. Kindly WhatsApp me on 0704153366 we talk more
well done good teacher.
Thank you! 😃
mwalimu how do you differentiate between longitude and latitude in terms of the lines in the globe
Longitudes are from North to South pole. Latitudes are from west to east
@@shiftinggrades thank you teacher
