Wow! Great performance as always! It's cool to see you play that main theme with only RH. When I was a kid and attempted to play it, at first I played it same way since it was more convenient but after I saw everyone played it with both hands I decided to relearn it to play proper way 😂. My teacher laughed at and said that I should play how I think and feel is more comfortable to play and not how everybody plays or says it should be played. Can't agree more now.
This is my favorite Paganini Etude! Im actually learning it on the flute right now, and I was actually just practicing it this morning. 😅 I have never heard the Lizst arrangement, but its really awesome Awesome recording. 😁
Fantastic interpretation. You should record the alternative text of this étude. It's actually longer (Around 4:15 min long - Howard's version). It's more mellow and warm.
I wouldn’t be surprised if you turn out to be Rubinstein or Zimmerman. Please can you do tempest 1st movement and Italian concerto- they are part of my repotoire list and I wanna know how u would interpret it.
I know you get tons of requests but if you ever find the time I would just love to hear your interpretation of the Bénédiction De Dieu Dans La Solitude from Liszt. It’s such a sublime piece and I think your sensitive playing would really do it justice.
Road to goød tbh 10 years in pianist time is not particulary that much, so if he really is just one person then honestly it’s pretty impressive to be able to do this with only 10 years under his belt
So I've definitely never heard the full composition before... anybody know where I would have heard the opening? Like I knew it immediately from hearing the first measure.
