    I have this issue on all commercial patterns. Hence why your tutorial is so vital. I’ll try to implement this to my favourite blouse pattern, as well as my bodice toile, which should make it perfect. Thank you again Izzy.

    I thought what a massive dart you have now but I suppose it doesn’t matter once it is sewn the shouler will be the right length and it will be in the right position!!! How clever. I have done this alteration many times but I have never measured so precisely 😞

    Thanks Izzy. I sometimes get unwanted volume between my arm and where the dart from the shoulder comes down on your block. Do you think this might be the issue? Thanks, Debbie

    I dont understand the arm hole change. It doesnt seem to reflect actual proportions for an arm to fit through. BTW, this is the first of this series of videos ive seen, so will be looking at the previous ones soon!

    Doesn’t this make the bodice longer from neck to shoulder on each side?
