"Rubber", the one about a killer tyre, not a bad film though. I remember as kid begging my dad to let me stay up to watch the scary sounding 'the Day of the Locust' and being disappointed.Although when Donald Sutherland's character finally snaps it's pretty scary.
Definitely "The Car". It a really movie not just because of the fact that it is played with such seriouness, but the sound design and cinematography are outstanding.
Thank you for this re-upload! I haveny seen most of your old channel videos so i enjoy all of them. I have such wonderful memories of being a kid and watching this on the late late show. I was scared hahaha. Get some rest, see you next week!
Food Of The Gods. Some call it so bad it's good, but I think it's good, and unintentionally goofy because everyone plays it so straight. Plus it's got Marjoe Gortner in it.😊
•Choose or Die. A film about a killer video game sounds like it would be a dumb horror comedy (or some campy fun like Stay Alive), but this is actually a really good, well written horror film. It does have its lighter moments, but it takes itself mostly serious with believable, down to earth, and likable main characters. Its emotional scenes are emotional, its twists are well written, its mild commentary on 80s nostalgia vs the unfortunate reality of how the 80s have actually effected our present. Also I may be completely beyond being scared by fiction at this point, but its horrific moments manage to properly tow the line of being fun for the audience yet also disturbing for the troubled main character. I also really love its ending. Not only does it have a creative final battle, but I personally love how our main character's arc concludes. It's a surprisingly great movie. Check it out.
I first saw Night Of The Lepus on cable tv in the 90s and recorded it on VHS. Soon I found the Venezuelan VHS as La Noche De Las Liebres. I was entertained by this movie. Silly subject? I have several but I'll settle for Rubber about a killer tire! Not a whole car just a tire! By the way having a nice doggie always helps the video! Anyway good review and cool video bro!👉😃👈
My answer for your question at the end is Killer Condom, a German film about a gay detective. It sounds so fucking stupid but it's legitimately a good movie!
Two "silly idea taken seriously, making a good movie" movies: Uzumaki: Yeah, the manga is better known, but they did make a movie out of it. The silly premise: OMG! Spirals! The Colo(u)r Out of Space: EVIL COLOR! AH! I'm thinking of the recent Nicholas Cage version, but there have been a few other movies made from the story.
I first heard of this movie on an episode of Everybody Hates Chris. At first I thought it was a joke, but then I found out it was real, and it blew my mind. Oh, and if you wanna talk killer rabbits, check out the 1988 movie Alice. It turned the White Rabbit from Alice in Wonderland into a homicidal maniac. Yes! SERIOUSLY!!
Gotta love your Henenlotter! My favorite movie of his is "Brain Damage". Should be stupid, but somehow works brilliantly on several levels. Have you reviewed this one?
I just saw one of the most amazing movie mash ups of all time. Just picture if you will, an aspiring writer, depressed from a night out having just seen Michael Bay's Transformers. The writer gets really high and watches a double feature of the films "Death Bed, The Bed that Eats" and "The Car." The next day the writer turns in the script for a film called "Super Hybrid."
Seen this movie many times on tv over the years and agree that its better than most sci fi movies from this time. I believe that they were influenced by the introduced rabbits that have overrun Australia 🐇
I heard of this movie through screen shots used in Natural Born Killers. The movie itself was decent. I really wanted the little girl to become an appetizer to a herd of those bunnies. The high pitched whining “DADDY! DADDY!” grated my nerves. Play Dead (aka Satan’s Dog) from 1982. It’s about a bitter old woman that practices black magic and sends a demonic Rottweiler to her niece and nephew to get revenge because their mom stole their father from her. The dog then kills members of their circle in various ways like dropping a live curling iron in a tub, strangulation via leash, poisoning, and jumping out from a car causing the occupant to dash out into the street and get hit by a passing motorist. The movie takes itself very seriously and it works despite the dog acting more like a serial killer than an actual dog.
Man you got to give us more side view talking point. You got to sit in a room have the camera pointed at the side of your face and just never look directly at the camera.

I'll have a proper video for you all next week. Until then enjoy this little trip down memory lane :)
"Frogs" the idea to me at least is silly, but found the flick somewhat unnerving. Also stars a very young Sam Elliott.
"Rubber", the one about a killer tyre, not a bad film though.

Day of the Locust is where the name Homer Simpson comes from

James Brolin played his part really straight. I agree with the Cinematography too. Fantastic

Thanks Justin. It may be a reupload but it wasnew to me and hope I get to see Lepus someday. The only silly movie that comes to mind is Squirm.
I was trying to tell a coworker about about this movie and especially the drive in part because that's where we work.
My fav horror/grindhouse/shlock/ Movie ad infinitum is I DRINK YOUR BLOOD. Watched it a thousand times
I was weirdly obsessed with this movie for a bit as a kid, when I saw some clips of it on here.. Thank you for the video it was fun and informative!
I'm sure Tucker's view of this movie would be this."I love you...Rabbit! Chase Rabbit! Yum!"

Plus this movie had that guy who's always standing and talking...Rory Calhoun
Aw, I’ll take a Tucker Tax for pretty much any faux pas you may commit!

Cool dog 🐶
They've got great sharp pointy teeth!

“Empire Of The Ants” is a good example… and someone else already mentioned “Food Of The Gods”
One of my favorite

Night Of The Lepus is absolutely everything my miniturelop bunny Puka THOUGHT she was. :'D
This movie is actually based on a satirical novel called The Year of The Angry Rabbit that's set in Australia.
Happy horror Easter 🐰
Seen this movie many times on tv over the years and agree that its better than most sci fi movies from this time. I believe that they were influenced by the introduced rabbits that have overrun Australia 🐇
Thanks I needed the distraction today.
Are you going to do a overview on your collection? I know you did one on your old channel but it's been years
I haven't seen a Hanukah horror movies yet. But im sure there is one.

Halloween Resurrection. I love goofy but serious it is and I don't know why it gets so much hate 🤷
