While I do like Penix more I agree nix makes a lot more sense for the broncos. He’s a perfect fit for Payton’s offense
Call me crazy but I see the Vikings staying put with their two firsts and going edge and qb, even if it means Penix or Nix. They have enough surrounding talent offensively that’ll allow any qb to thrive there but don’t forget that they lost their best defensive player in fa so grabbing someone at 11 who can fill that hole is a very real option in my opinion.

@@kevingreene4090 Well JJ is younger, less injury prone and was developed by a NFL hc who took a team to a Superbowl led by Colin Kaepernick. JJ would thrive in Minnesota because he fits that style offense but I think he’d truly benefit from sitting a year or two while Penix is more of a play now qb.
If WAS drafts a QB at 2 that just means he will run for his life since the OTs that could correct this will be GONE at 20.
The difference between Maye and Driskel is NOT more important than the difference two great OTs would make, particularly in generating a power running game.

Hopefully Falcons go Latu 1st or Verse 2nd over Turner if we stick at 8. Although if we are smart we trade down from that position and grab a pick or 2 more.
Personally, I think Turner fits the 3-4 OLB mold better than the other two prospects, but I like Latu more than him. Can’t really go wrong with any of them nonetheless!
@@chasekellerjournalism Can't agree with you on that one as Latu has played more 3-4 than Turner has in college. Plus Latu is a better coverage guy as well. Turner is a better 3-4 guy than Verse is i just don't think he is as good a player as Verse and i still think Verse can play 3-4 and 4-3. Although if we are being 100% honest the 3-4 /4-3 stuff doesn't mean much of anything anymore these days. Since teams pass so much most teams run most plays out of nickle or dime. I would say you see more 4-2-5 than anything lately even from 3-4 base teams lol. I honestly think at that point you take the best edge player of the 3 because all 3 can play most plays. So for me thats Latu, Then Verse, then Turner. Also since we signed Cousins they are banking on a shorter window to try and get it done while he is here. That also leads to Latu more because he is ready to roll as we speak and Turner is much more raw and will probably need a few years to get to Latu's level in technique and skill.
Soooooo we pass on getting a top trigger man for a OT hummm. If ya gonna draft for my team load up on my defense we can get a tackle later.
The Raiders are projected to be taking an offensive tackle at 13. I can have opinions on if the Raiders should draft a corner, but most of my mock draft decisions go off what I think will happen.
Love Dejean to start at safety but not trading up for him. Eagles don't need CB.
I would say corner is Philly's biggest need simply because they don't have too many needs in general. Slay's play has started to decline, Bradberry has not played great these last two seasons, Maddox is a solid nickel corner but nothing special, and Ringo and Ricks provide good depth but likely will stay as backup-caliber corners. Philly just does not have a trusty CB1 right now, and with how many starting corners you can get in the first round this season, it would not shock me if Philly pulled the trigger to get their guy.
@@chasekellerjournalism There is not a CB in this draft that would be higher than 6th on the Eagles depth chart. Slay, Rodgers start outside and Hall in the slot. Maddox and Mcpherson backups at slot. Ringo who next year will start and Ricks and Bradberry and Jobe as backups. Still have Gardner and Goodrich. The CB's in this draft are very ordinary not a top notch starter in the draft
Chip Robinson>Jared Verse. I’ll riot if the rams take Verse. He is not going to be as good in the nfl as people think. I think he is an above average athlete overall but his hips are terrible and he’s a power edge who i think has overrated explosion and play strength. Hes not going to be consistant at the next level. A lot of power edges use speed to power or are super big and lengthy. He isn’t either. He won a lot in college but a lot of it was being a smart pass rusher and knowing how to attack different players weaknesses. Like he would stutter bull rush Florida's tackle because he was big and tended to be on his heels constantly. Then he would use a long arm club on LSU's LT because he moved goofily and stopped his feet on contact. He was coached extremely well or was a film junk idk which. But a lot of his pass rush wins were beating up on dudes who arent close to nfl players (how most edge play is in college, same reason I don’t care for Olu Fashanu, he never played anyone good) and i dont it’s going to translate. He might stick around and be a savy vet for years but give me chop any day of the week
While I do disagree, I do like both prospects and either would work well for the Rams. I have my Top 50 prospects video coming out tomorrow, where I will briefly discuss both edge rushers as they both made my top 50 very comfortably. Verse is my EDGE3 in this class while Chop is my EDGE4. Both good selections for LA in my opinion.
@@chasekellerjournalism that’s all just my opinion, Im sorry I said it very matter of factly lol I didn’t mean to come off rude. But I just don’t see it with verse. I’d personally much rather have Latu or Chop on my favorite team
