That feeling when I played through this tank, loving it, and finally unlocked the Cent AX. My first t10 med, I will surely be unstoppable! ...That feeling didn't last long. I still feel some of that sadness that the Cent AX isn't an upgrade and there's not even any HESH to enjoy.

Despite all of the high damage videos skill has put up, all the kolobanovs, all the jokes, this might be my favorite video yet. What a monster carry in the last game, a true white glove slap in the face of the badmouther in his team. That E5 guess gave me shivers. What a great player, what a great atitude. its been a long time since i played the 7/1. i ground it out back when the FV 4202 was still the tier ten and the tank had over a 10 sec reload. did it get buffed or just better equipment now?
The gun was the best in real life L7 for its time, sold to the US for their M60 and the Germans for their Leopard, crazy how the centurion does not have the same gun stats as the Leo! It’s a game but it would of been nice if it had some resemblance to the history of tank development.
We all wish the game had some sense of realism to actual tanks. Centurion used to dominate during its time, but of course the prototype Objects and IS where some never made it past pen paper are somehow better than a tank that proved its worth.
I am like you. When I first played through it (back 8-9 years ago perhaps -- whenever it first came out), I could not for the life of me understand the love it got. Then a couple years ago I played it again for the sake of figuring out why people loved it so. And I found out. Of course I was 20K more games into my time in the game too, so I had a much better understanding of the game!
u suck at using the centurion,and before u call yourself a sucker at MTs try driving another medium which u find comfortable to play. If no mt suits you. Then u will proudly tell yourself u are really a bloody sucker at mediums. 😂
I love this tank as it is one of the only ones I feel you can easily 3 mark without spamming full gold, tbh I wish all gold ammunition was was less pen but more damage and regular ammo got a pen buff.

@@davryyy why is it dumb? With the Hesh your dpm is 10% higher than any other tier x medium and 210 pen is still enough if you know where to hit your shots. Yea tanks like the 279e will be basically invulnerable but it’s not like the heat is doing much. Every time I play my Cent 7 I have bot teams that lose within 5 minutes and all my prem HESH rounds do about 10 dmg if they hit something squishy and the APCR rounds just bounce! WG are just scum.
I got teammates like HIM almost every game. In first seconds write GG lost and he is swearing in chat and acting like submarine :D and they are using xvm and looking at stats. Everyone could have good game

Back in the days when Fv4202 were the T10 he had Hesh and it was beautiful to play. The game was much balanced in that time tho...

Centurion 7/1 might be my favorite tier 9. 3 marked in 75 games average 3200 damage. So beautiful tank highly recommend to every one
I love it too I have two marks on both tier 9 an 8. My only two marks in the game.
That's why I love it. Good and reliable. Doesn't have the best speed, dpm, etc. But I just do consistently well in it, regardless.
Love it too. Have more than 1000 games on it. The only thing i really hate is the stupid gun handling...

Nah, just change its HE to 210pen HESH. Tier 10 mediums need extra pen to deal with tier 10 heavies. Having the same pen as tier 9 would be too weak.

I really like the Centurion 7/1, but getting 4000 damage is very hard work in it.
On console, the first artillery hit would have done 1400 damage. The second would kill you. Artillery on console sucks.
Tir 9 is kinda good... But others are trash... Tir 2 to tir 10 all are trash shot fluffers
