I love seeing this style of content you are doing. It feels very natural and is entertaining. Although tutorial-style videos would also be a great welcome.
I appreciate it! Thank you! I will try to introduce more tutorial style ones as well! I have to edit the second video, but once I start my next one I definitely will make it a bit more tutorial!
You may not be able to get a factory one, but best bet is to get a new cable from Napa or build on that will be like the factory one. Best place to get stuff to build your own would be from prowireusa.com
If you watch the rest of my videos they kind of are. But if you do have any questions don't hesitate to reach out. I'll gladly answer anything you need to know. I'm actually currently in the process of reassembling the engine now
Awesome, I’m about to watch part 2 now and then follow along for the engine tear down. I have stripped spark plugs threads so if you have any experience helicoiling threads, that would be helpful.
@@80stoyotaboi best time to do that is when the head is off. Most of the good kits will come with a drill bit and the tool to install the helicoil. But if you don't want the helicoil route, some machine shops would probably be able to weld the hole and re tap the hole.
@@80stoyotaboi are you trying to remove the cable from the bracket or the bracket from the throttle body? If the bracket from the throttle body there is a clip that expands to pull off the ball that attaches to the throttle body
Thanks for the vids. My 85 will need a rebuild sometime, do you have a reliable engine parts supplier? What about cam shafts and the crank shaft bearings? I've heard that valve shims are difficult to obtain. Thanks again for the great channel.
Thank you so much for watching! I will be making more soon. And Battle Garage RS has really good stuff I prefer ACL race bearings, even for daily driving. Obviously you'll have to send everything to a machine shop to have it all checked before ordering the proper bearing size. Cam bearings can't be replaced on these engines, but if you were looking to upgrade cams I believe they have them too. Valve shims, I'm not exactly sure where you may be able to get some. I'd say just check clearances and maybe get with a machine shop to see if they can machine some for you.
Hi awesome !! Videos Quick question? Do you happen to to have Passenger's DOOR CONTROL Module 85980-17010 Power window/ power lock Please let me know Thank you Tania
@ivgarage it's been weeks / hours/ digging& No luck🥺😔😂 do you know of anyone that would refurbish these Very" unique & specific relay/ modules. I've also looked on other Toys of the same era, well the plug is very 👽 Then other alternative being from UK. The ones that I've found Sure! Not quite" it must B power window/lock. Toys from that Era, Celica Supra & also MR2 (manual rolling) came with door locks that would lock on their own feature. Bottom line defeating the purpose. Insane🤯😡
I do not. Not yet anyway. Hah. But if I can get my hands on one maybe I can see if I can refurbish it. They should be pretty simple. I've fixed many clusters before. I'm assuming this module controls just the power windows? I have manual ones and manual locks so that's why I'm not familiar I guess.
@catirecortes7892 I may have this module in Australia. Though i would have to dig through a lot of boxes as I am in the middle of a move and have way too much aw11 crap.. haha.

Well I greatly appreciate you and the fact that I can help you out
Definitely let me know if you need any help or have any questions
Hey, I also have 86 Mr2 and was wondering where can I locate grounding wire from chassis to transmission and negative battery terminal to chassis

Somehow I did manage to pick up, what I like to call, a survivor car. I'm going to be restoring it pretty well

Hey how did you remove the throttle bracket? I can’t figure out what to do after removing the three bolts

I do not unfortunately. If you have Facebook go on to AW11s only and you should be able to find someone that has it
