I love the way you represented their relationship(I think Fyolai is more of a one-sided ship bc of Fyodor’s ways of manipulation and not caring much about humans)
Edit: I worded this rlly RLLY wrong, I apologize😭 what I meant by “not caring” was rather not caring what people he must get rid of in order for the result, similar to Mori and Dazai. I also believe he sees the average human plagued with too much sin to be considered trustworthy therefore only working with those he can manipulate to its fullest extent. Hence him not trusting Nikolai and it being one-sided
i like to think that in nikolai's point of view, fyodor understands him and his reasons on why he wants to achieve freedom even if in reality fyodor doesn't know much about nikolai and he most likely doesn't trust him because he can't manipulate him as much like what happened in the last episode of season 5.
fyodor's this sweet talker when it arrives to his co-workers or recruiting others-he reads almost everyone flawlessly and he performed it towards nikolai, he reflected those personal, private parts of nikolai back to him and his attachment grew without knowing it's how he naturally does it.
i also like to think that nikolai knows that fyodor isn't capable of understanding his entire personality, because after all the person who knows you best is you, yet he's absorbed in the idea of someone finally understanding him to his very core because it's such a new feeling for him so he denies it since if fyodor doesn't actually understand a point of him then who will be there to understand him? he gains these positive feelings from the comfort of someone understanding him and not feeling alone, at the same time, he hates this feeling because he can't be free, he tries to murder fyodor in hopes of finally meeting with liberty but he turns more shallow when that occurs BECAUSE the harsh fact is he can't escape from himself due to his emotions locked inside his human body.
just my opinion but i think fyodor does care about humans, he considers himself like a god's servant, he thinks he's fulfilling a good deed for the others through proceeding on with a goal and leading the world into a state of peace throughout his actions of continuous manipulation and generally just horrible things. however, he considers those who attempt to stop his plans as someone going against what's meant to be fixed. to him, ability users manifest countless sins and must be destroyed. he is doing what he thinks must be fixed. (as a servant and not actually a god figure) fyodor has good intentions, in the manga he's shown to be quite humble and kind directly to those who are no sinners. he isn't just this stereotypical antagonist or villain and i wanted to badly portray that in reaction videos involving him.

@@axellolz I don't care about the ship, but I don't agree with your view of Fyodor, I think the same as the creator. Fyodor has good intentions but executes them in the most twisted way possible, he doesn't consider himself as God, but rather his servant, and he has the mission to eradicate sin so humanity can be clean (after all he's not wrong that abilities or superpowers are unnatural and suppose a unbalance in society since it's unfair and random, plus given humans emotions, selfish behavior, etc. It's dangerous for themselves), he does what he believes it's right, for example you see all the people that he killed? WE view it as a horrible act since he deprived those people from their lives without considering what said people thought (like it's not the same killing someone who wants to die, than killing someone who doesn't want to die) or as if he had any right to interfere, but for him, he was simply "freeing" said people from this cruel world, also as I said he's doing this all for the greater good, the thing is that "the greater good" differs depending on the person, he CONSIDERS THIS to be the greater good, while ofc the others think of in in another light (the one "morally" correct), so he's doing this for what HE believes it's the better for humanity without even questioning what the other people want, and so he do it in a really cruel way...

Wait... why doesn't Nikolai just get Fyodor to force a doctor to remove the part of the body that gives you emotions from Nikolai?? (I know nothing on that subject or if you can even do that but it's an anime so it doesn't have to be realistic)
the parts giving you emotions are mostly located in our brain and without our brain we can't function properly or feel anything. this is why in the first episodes of nikolai, he was tryna kill himself to get that freedom he wants ( at least that's how i understood it! ) but then he realized he can't actually be free from that whoops
@artskits I know that it's parts of the brain but why can't he just get brain surgery and alternate the parts of the brain that work with emotions?? ( It sounds unrealistic but it's anime so 🤷🏻♀️)
if dazai can survive what the ENTIREEEE fandom thought was his certain death just because of chuuya, then fyodor can too. i think nikolai pulled him out the helicopter last second and transported him somewhere nearby and out of sight, but was tad slow, hence the arm being there. he probably thought he was too late and still didnt save him so his feelings when fyodor "died" were still very much real. (i'm delusional)
