If the council went dark, the most powerful jedi in hundreds of years would easily destroy Palpatine. Now if Palpatine and anakin had ran and waited, trained anakin to his potential without injuries, then they could take them. Palpatine was reckless sending anakin out alone so soon. Anakin should have kept the 501st with him and then the story would be different. No way he should have been sent out alone as emotional and new to the dark as he was.

I love scenarios where Anakin reaches his true insane peak of power in both the force, and in lightscaber combat. The idea of him taking on Sidious and a dark side empowered Yoda and Windu and winning is awesome.
That coukd happen but Palpatine was already naturally drawn to the dark side, with or without his master he would have grown in the dark side and became as powerful, maybe it would have taken longer, but his evil was like a storm and emptiness I'm one, he was a monster.
I like this. Dooku is about twenty years older than Palpatine, so maybe Plagueus could find him as a young boy on Soreno. It would be really interesting if Palpatine became a rogue, malevolent, force-using senator who doesn't follow any particular ideology

Luckily Palps won't have the benefits of a master to learn from, so yeah, it'd take him longer, plus he'd have to get rid of his own family more sneakily.... unless he finds a Sith holocron, or becomes a jedi just to use them as throwaway teachers and dispose of them later, resulting in the jedi being caught between two opposing dark side plots. Alternatively, Plagueis could originally choose Palatine, but then changes his mind and kills Palps before he can get too dangerous, whereupon he goes with plan B and gets Dooku.
What if Baris Offee bombed the council chambers instead of the hanger and all council members present were lost? Would be interesting to see how Palpatine would adjust his timescale, and how the jedi council would restructure itself during the clone wars
I think it would've been a cool idea if Mace either had resistance to or was more affected by it since he already uses the dark side and would be pretty well acquainted with it
I think it's likely that Thrawn would ally himself with the New Republic the moment he feels that the tide is against him. Remember, he doesn't have a particular loyalty to the Empire and while he prefers it over the Alliance, he would rather the Galaxy be unified under a single government rather than in a three way civil war. He won't join the Alliance outright, but he'll secure a portion of the Galaxy for his empire(likely in the Galactic North, and then ally with them against Tarkin's empire(likely centered in the Core). Edit: So basically it would be like the Imperial Remnant under Pellaeon, a parallel but not necessarily rival government existing at the same time as the New Republic.

Yeah, the entire reason why Thrawn even joined the Empire was that he reasoned it would be the most effective ally to use to protect the Chiss against the greater threat of the Yuuzhan Vong, so he would do anything he could to not only maintain order, but get the most powerful people on his side if he thinks that they could be convinced to listen to reason and work to his idea of the greater good. Thrawn would establish the Empire of the Hand and take control of as many imperial assets as possible, but if he saw that the Jedi and New Republic were winning consistently, he would likely try to negotiate with them to work together and prepare for the Vong, or at least warn them about the threat so that the galaxy wouldn't just waste lives and resources fighting amongst itself. Also, if the Jedi were as prevalent and successful as they were in this timeline, Thrawn would definitely invest in dedicated anti-Jedi security forces, such as reclaimed Magna guards armored in Cortosis or at least Beskar with Yslamiri in armored pods with independent air supply on their back or something. Given how easy Imperial forces would be lost without his leadership, it would be pretty easy to justify the expenses that such a security detail would cost.

Dark Side Jedi Council? Now this makes me want a "What if Palpatine was a secret Jedi traditionalist?" Basically he'd be a secret Jedi trying to restore the Jedi to who they once were after Coruscant and the darkness of the Senate corrupted the Jedi, like in the movies. Everything would play out very similarly to the movies, Clone Wars and such, but Order 66 would be different as Anakin would be bringing balance back to the Jedi after they were corrupted by the darkness of bureaucracy, instead of destroying the Jedi and bringing about an age of darkness like he does in the normal timeline. Obi-Wan and Ashoka hopefully will survive as they are close to Anakin and aren't corrupted by Bureaucracy like the rest of the Jedi Council. But Palpatine will still exterminate most of the Jedi as a "wipe the slate clean and start over" sort of thing with him as the Grandmaster and Anakin still being the chosen one bringing balance to the Force. Maul and Dooku could even be with Palpatine on his "Restore the Light back to the Jedi" plan.

I do the exact same however I can only do it with the ones with good endings. I often dream about whatever I’m hearing in the real world and i don’t want a dream that ends in me being brutally murdered by Vader or captured and tortured in place of Ezra.

I made an OC Jedi. And he has an unique blade. He has a long green blade with edges to give it a unique look to it and a shorter blue blade that looks like a normal sword

(He probably wouldn't be an Alliance guy in this one, but would go up against Maul, Maul's right hand man (can't recall his name, but he was the figurehead of Crimson Dawn.), the White Worms, Jabba and Boba Fett and possibly the other bounty hunters that were with Jabba, the Pike Syndicate, and possibly the occasional annoying Imperial that gave him a hard time. You could also have him meet up with Chewbacca (perhaps rescuing him from some Corellian spice mine or something) and have the two work as a team.

I can't imagine palpatine seeing the entire council turning as a positive. He was killed when he had 1 apprentice, how could he be ok with a dozen? Also (im getting the feeling this is how to make requests), what if the death star was destroyed by Saw Guerrera's rebels instead of Mon Mothma's? Or, what if Luke joined Saw Guerrera's rebel cell instead of Mon Mothma's?
I also just do not think some of them turning/being that easily influenced would be realistic especially Obi Wan, Yoda, and Plo. Obi wan because he's such a Jedi Purist and the other two because of their age and experience.

Dark Side Jedi Council? Now this makes me want a "What if Palpatine was a secret Jedi traditionalist?"
Basically he'd be a secret Jedi trying to restore the Jedi to who they once were after Coruscant and the darkness of the Senate corrupted the Jedi, like in the movies. Everything would play out very similarly to the movies, Clone Wars and such, but Order 66 would be different as Anakin would be bringing balance back to the Jedi after they were corrupted by the darkness of bureaucracy, instead of destroying the Jedi and bringing about an age of darkness like he does in the normal timeline.
Obi-Wan and Ashoka hopefully will survive as they are close to Anakin and aren't corrupted by Bureaucracy like the rest of the Jedi Council. But Palpatine will still exterminate most of the Jedi as a "wipe the slate clean and start over" sort of thing with him as the Grandmaster and Anakin still being the chosen one bringing balance to the Force.
Maul and Dooku could even be with Palpatine on his "Restore the Light back to the Jedi" plan.

(He probably wouldn't be an Alliance guy in this one, but would go up against Maul, Maul's right hand man (can't recall his name, but he was the figurehead of Crimson Dawn.), the White Worms, Jabba and Boba Fett and possibly the other bounty hunters that were with Jabba, the Pike Syndicate, and possibly the occasional annoying Imperial that gave him a hard time.
You could also have him meet up with Chewbacca (perhaps rescuing him from some Corellian spice mine or something) and have the two work as a team.

I can't imagine palpatine seeing the entire council turning as a positive. He was killed when he had 1 apprentice, how could he be ok with a dozen?
Also (im getting the feeling this is how to make requests), what if the death star was destroyed by Saw Guerrera's rebels instead of Mon Mothma's? Or, what if Luke joined Saw Guerrera's rebel cell instead of Mon Mothma's?
I also just do not think some of them turning/being that easily influenced would be realistic especially Obi Wan, Yoda, and Plo. Obi wan because he's such a Jedi Purist and the other two because of their age and experience.
