More years past and the Grove St Families disbanded leaving the hood and the other Families members behind, forcing them to start their own Sets. And possibly some of those members became Ballas and took over Grove St. Leaving us in GTA 5 nothing but purple on that street. Has not been confirmed, just my personal opinion

San Andreas Grove ST had CJ’s back because he was from Grove ST(Especially the leader of the gang) while in GTA V Franklin was never even mention of being a member.... -Side Note: A DLC where Franklin helped Grove ST get back to the top would have been awesome to play in my opinion.

Grove Street lost the projects in Idlewood and Willowfield. GSF only had there main hood left which is Ganton. CJ showed up at the right time expand the hood, not just once but twice. Ganton Grove Street Families didn't stand no chance once CJ left. That's why it makes sense Ballas took over and control the Grove by 2013.

San Andreas hands down i still play this on my ps4. The network had it for $15 I had to cop it because the replay value of this game is endless. SA is just raw whereas 5 is cool but not as gritty. I wish they would bring back CJ and Sweet enhance the graphics and keep the raw dialogue and gameplay. CJ fa life fu!

I don’t see any problem that grove street doesn’t help Franklin coz Franklin doesn’t like gangland life and he even tries to get away from it. On the other hand, CJ is core member of grove street. With him leading grove street, it’s not surprised that grove streets respect him. Jeezz, it really gives me headaches when all of you SA fanboys keep praising SA for a stupid reason. SA is absolutely a awesome, epic game when it comes to gangster, but never forget the background story of each character.

Ok kid, you obviously haven't played gta 5, gta 5 is honestly the best gta in terms of details and gameplay, sure gta sa has the better story line but gta 5 has a very distinct feeling to it that sets it apart from any other gta game ( in a positive way)

Actually the gang its the Families, Grove st Families was the first set of the families. When playing gta-sa there are other sets or clique's of the families like seville blvrd Families and temple dr Families that are beefing ay the beggining of the game CJ camera back to Reunite the Families. So the families from that point became one led by the GSF. Butin gta5 Families already reunited changed the name of all the sets GSF is no more Temple or seville now they are Forum Drive Families FDF, Chamberlain Hills Gangsters Families CGF wich is the lead set Carson ave. Families CAF and Davis idontknowwhat Families. Families hace four sets. Just sharing info. But dice video comparing the old school Families and the New school

@South Side Comptown that was bound to happen eventually,CJ became rich no longer needing to be a gangbanger anymore Grove Street Families got weak,Ballas moved and took over the place,same with the Seville Blvd and Temple Drive.
Fun Fact: In SA 1992, there are 3 grove familys. Each wear the same clothe but the will attack you if they are selived or temple
