No it's quite simple actually.
It looks complicated due to their buzzwords, but I've seen people make similar mirrors AT THEIR HOME. Of course they don't have sensors or anything, but its like you know how in movies you see mirrors that display temperature etc in the morning? It's like that.
As a simplified version, you take a slim TV. Then you need a software which has visual elements (like example temperature display) and you need to make the background black, only the important things which you want to display on the mirror should have brighter colors. Then on top of the TV you put a 2-way mirror. The 2-way mirror allows you to see the things that are bright, but all other spaces will work as a mirror, like how if you go to your window and make the room absolutely dark at night at use a flashlight on it, you will be able to see reflection of the flashlight, but in the areas that are untouched by flashlight you'll be able to see outside of the window.
In their case, they can slim it down even further due to the fact that they need just one software to run on it, and the weight comes mostly from their sensors and camera which are often not that big, like if you have an engineer on the team who optimizes for space you can figure it out. With TVs and all, they need to put in stuff for remotes, USB cables, all that, with this it's less complicated.
The product demo was failing , the product sucks , I would only be even interested in window shopping this if it could do video calls or do something phenomenal like Si-Fi or something. Who needs a mirror for exercises If I could play 1.25 lakhs for a virtual trainer, can I not just go to a nice gym and apply for a normal personal trainer.
