- Last year we were blessed to get an invite from the Rolling Bones Car Club to participate in a private racing event at The Bonneville Salt Flats. Erik Hanson, Tom Senior and Tom Jr loaded up the Omaha Coupe in a trailer and made the roughly 24 hour journey from Omaha, NE. We hope you all enjoy the story. Definitely an experience of a lifetime and we are super grateful we were invited to participate!

Great video! Nothing beats rental car off-roading in Wendover!
Now that was a great time !!!!!
Need to get you guys to autograph a couple of copies of the Hagerty magazine for me !
What an incredibly magical opportunity for all of you !
Those magical moments just don't come along that often !
I was able to spend a weekend with Indy500 winner Rodger Ward during an AIS
( American IndyCar Series )
Race in the middle of Iowa that was oddly enough rained out as well !
My only regret was not asking him more questions !
But I didn't want to seem like an obnoxious fan instead of the racer's that we both were !
( I still kick myself for that ) !
Thanks Quad! We appreciate you. Sorrry for the delay .
Great stuff ❤❤..From South Africa 👍👍👍🤗🤗

Hey guys! What a week by the sounds!
Such a fun time Scott! Thanks for watching my man
My search for the coupe started in 2015 when I came upon a newspaper article from 1955 when Bob Hartwell won the eliminator race at the first Nationals. I started asking around about the car. That lead me to Greg Roseland, he mentioned that the car was still in Omaha metro area and was owned by Rick Powers. I was able to chat with Ruby Powers , ricks wife about the cars history . For almost 5 years we chatted back and forth about the future of the coupe. In early 2020 Ruby let me know it was time to pass the car on to a new caretaker. I got in touch with Larry Morgan and let him know that he had first chance at buying the car. Larry made the deal and after only a few months he sold the car to Tom at South Omaha Speed.
Thanks Alfred !!!
Continuing to change the subject guys, but can you please tell me more about where the airport/airbase were the B-29's did their practice, and gun test firing !?
Real deal !!! Search Wendover air base . Lots of info on there
Not to change the subject gentlemen,
but could you please tell me a little more about the spot up in the mountains where the guys trained during WW2 for bomber training ?
And, maybe a little more about the museum name and location at, or near the same place up in the mountains ?
Wendover air base. Lots of great history there . Sorry for the delayed response.
