Ok you guys! I wanna go on a cruise now. Guess mine would be a 60s cruise kt the best music EVER decade 😆! That's way cool and all the better when it's rug-rat free. I can totally see that I am truly old to want to be without babes in tow. OH, GUESS WHAT? I have a new great-granddaughter born 2 days b4 my 76th bd on 1/27. Elaine Mae! Hey Shadd! This was our first chartered cruise, and the theming was SO impressive! We can't wait to share all the fun details! My friend had Burger Time growing up too, that's how I remember playing it (rather than at the arcade.) Hope y'all get to go on another cruise some time soon!
I’m 13 and I wish I was born in the 80’s or at least grew up in the 80’s that’d be a dream come true to bad that’ll never happen hopefully 80’s style comes back it does suck that I’ll never be able to experience the 80’s

Yes!! We participated in the trivia session they hosted, and those questions were challenging! It really did feel like we were back in the 80's taking a pop quiz we were ill-prepared for, LOL!! I used to run the Carnival Cruise lines Kiosk in Stonebriar Center Mall back on the second floor of the main entrance in-between Barnes and Nobles and I think it was Dave 'n' Busters if I'm correct and there was the love sac and Cheese Cake Factory right there too back in 2004-2006 before they closed it down. Anyways, I took allot of Carnival Cruises back then because all I had to pay was taxes & boarding pass and I really wished back then they would have had an 80's cruise like this because I would have been on it immediately. I really miss selling cruise vacations and helping people to decide what excursion to take and it was just an awesome job plus I was the only person there that ran it at the time so I was able to collect allot of commission on my sales. Such great memories....
Interesting! We used to shop at Stonebriar Mall some, back when we lived in Dallas. Our daughter was little, so we spent most of our time at the Build-a-Bear or carousel, lol! Sounds like a fun job! We took a Carnival Cruise for our honeymoon, way back in '95. This was our first themed charter cruise, and we absolutely LOVED it!!

My wife has been asking me to go on a cruise since we met. But I've never been too keen on the idea of being on an open ocean for a long period of time. If I were to ever go on one, it would be either this or an Alaskan cruise. You two are a lot of fun bringing all these great memories back for us "older" folks. 😎📹🛳📼
JT, We have been on 5 out of 6 of the 80's cruises. Unless you have medical concerns requiring airlifting off the ship (available) I had same fears before going. I have been very impressed with the ships "drills & practice" sessions they do twice weekly, not counting the "muster drill". Also, even when when we were at sea for a day and night we saw dozens of other various ships also in the same path. If the cruise was days crossing the Ocean, I would have many fears, but on these cruses, you are never too far from land or other ships. An Alaskan trip would be relaxing and fun. The 80s cruise would be your best vacation ever, if you like several of the bands, costumes, and non-stop fun! Due to health we have needed scooters. - No problem! - A lot of "after 11" activity if you can stay up late! - But even if you are in bed by 10, you will have a very fun and full day! LOL - Ask your Doctor if you are up to having the best week of your life! If YES and you like music - Go with the 80's cruise! - I am 64 and my wife is a couple years older! We have met and spoken with Nina Blackwood, Alan Hunter, Mark Goodman, Tiffany, Debbie Gibson, Terri Nunn & her husband, Tommy Tutone, ASIA members, Katrina (w/o the Waves), several members of Cool and the Gang, members of The Jets, and many more, beyond the concerts! Drinking is pretty heavy, but extremely happy group. Many sober people too. LOL. Going to the 80's Cruise may make you feel YOUNGER! - The Alaska trip may make you feel older! LOL - Also the 80s cruise is 100% semi-casual vs. semi-formal. I do NOT work for them! I am happy to answer any question I can. ewingerK@gmail.com

It is hard to believe such a big theater is on a ship, that venue looked intimate.
The Goonies themed place was awesome.
The pool area kind of reminded me of Spring Break for MTV.
Totally!! We were blown away by the theming, especially the venues and the 80s Block! Yes, the TGI Eighties was meant to look like TGI Friday's, right down to the memorabilia and flair. Karaoke at Reunions was an absolute blast, and between that and the video games, it was our favorite little spot on the ship. The giant Operation game used magnets to hold the pieces vertically, and we couldn't believe it really worked! They seriously thought of EVERY little detail.

That wild they put that much effort into somthing that is 7 days out of the year. From the wall decorations to arcade games, that took a lot of time.

Thanks James! The 80s Cruise is SO much fun! Passengers have to be at least 21+ (all adult beverages are included, so that's probably the reason.) You'd be about the average age - most cruisers attended high school in the 80s.

Hello, and thanks for stopping by our channel. We enjoy cruising as a couple, but there are some single cruisers (and others who find roommates to save on the cost of the cabin.) Honestly, there are so many fun activities on The 80s Cruise which makes it easy to make friends. It's a blast!!

If you’re wondering, the gym is a floating Planet Fitness. I opened it every morning at 6 am.
Wow! I'm sure it was nice, but we didn't darken the doorway of the gym, lol! We were lucky to be out of bed in time for breakfast before 11am, ha ha! We enjoyed the late-night activities on-board! 😊
