Of course Mike, it's been prophesized. Yoda: "Misread the Phrophy might have". Mike, you are so good at analyzing and Theorizing, maybe "You are the Chosen One"
Leslye headland herself said different characters will have different opinions on where the twins come from and there will be no concrete answer. I appreciate you being so into Star Wars, and I too used to think bad Star Wars is better than no Star Wars. You are mistaking good well thought out writing/storytelling for incredibly vague writing. Sure it’s easy to come up with all the theories you want, but I think you’ll just end up disappointed. You are putting more thought into this than the creator and writers. They pick from legends, but then something as simple as lightsaber colors was just chosen aesthetically. I just hope these people stay away from KOTOR, and eventually we get a reboot in its own universe with people who care about the franchise more than themselves and modern day politics.
@@leeroyjustice3440 Ok, I guess I will have to spell this out for you. You asked: "Do you think Mae will teach Darth Plagueis how to create life?" The "creator' mother of Mae died when Mae was 8 years old. Do you think the "creator' mother would have taught Mae how to create life by then? In the show she was just beginning to teach them about using the Thread to literally push people around. So no: Mae doesn't know how to create life.
I think this is how it’ll go. I think the Acolyte now is something possibly made by the Witches like how they made Twins. It might be completely wrong but every week my theories always changes haha
@@aguywholovesstarwars like surely they can’t introduce us the witches just like that for a one off. There has to be more. I can’t wait to see what the truth is. I think Indara found out and I think that’s why she was first to go
I know we have a bit more info at the time I'm writing this, but that's not relevant right now: Because I have what I think might be a BETTER theory. What if Plagueis taught the WITCHES how to create life using the force??? They hinted that they were in exile and had been hunted. They suggested some consider their power "dark and unnatural" (Call back to what Palpatine says!) And Koril even says "But if the Jedi were to learn HOW you created them..." She seems to be suggesting that the Jedi might be pretty upset if they found out she used a Dark Side/Sith technique to create the twins. Also, Qimir seems to be hinting that he knows a lot more about what happened on Brendock than meets the eye. Perhaps Plagueis told Qimir about him visiting the witches and teaching them how to create life, and perhaps Plagueis was aware of, or even secretly present for what went down 16 years ago with the Jedi and the witches, and told Qimir about it.
According to dogma the term immaculate conception refers to the purity of Mary the mother of Jesus being chosen to bear the child. The term refers to her purity. However, maybe it is still an interesting analogy in the acolyte in reference to the mothers and their purity and power. Thank you for the engaging review ☆彡
Great insight mike and I think mae will teach darth plagueis to create life and that would explain how anakin was created and all the pieces are coming together and good video mike
Mike, I think reasons 1 & 2 for Anakin's creation mesh with each other. Plagueis' attempted manipulation of The Force/The Midi-Chlorians, caused a reaction from The Force, creating a counter to The Sith's Alchemy. I don't think We'll totally find out HOW the twins were specifically created (as hinted by Ms. Headland herself). It seems, she wants to leave this somewhat to the eye of the beholder...which causes even more controversy. The truth of the matter is: Either way, these young women are an abomination of The Force, and they should both be dead, by the end of this series. I'm still shocked that Osha was even allowed in to The Jedi Order, considering her DNA must've revealed the sorcery that was used to give her life. P.S. Perhaps the Sith Lord may turn out to be Darth Venamis, Tenebrous' other, secret Apprentice?
That was a fantastic video, thank you. Even if Darth Plagueis is not Smileys Master, he still could have learned it from Mae. Or the Master is a fallen Jedi. 🤔 Do you think that Mae and Osha share the same fate as Jaina and Jacen? The light side twin kills their dark side sibling. Another question for me is how did Plagueis find Shmi Skywalker.
I don't think Plagueis could be the Sith because while he could certainly be old enough, his Master (Tenebrous) wouldn't be old enough to train him. Without Tenebrous training Plaguies, then he couldn't be the dark lord at the time of the Acolyte. Since Tenebrous met Palpatine when Sheiv was in College (according to legends), then we can deduce that Tenebrous wouldn't be old enough and Plagueis wouldn't then be the Sith Lord at the time of the Acolyte.
Isn’t Mae too young to know how to teach . Does she even know how now that all witches are dead. Wouldn’t that knowledge be lost with the death of all the witches
Wait. When was how the force can be used to cerate life explained how it was done? Did I miss something in the episode? Obviously, i'm being sarcastic. But it was NOT explained how the witches created life and even then it wouldn't explain how Anakin was created. It is believed that the Force created Anakin. These twins were apparently created with dark majik. They probably have NOTHING to do with each other. Is this that hard to understand? What are you talking about? SMH
The Witches use, what they call "The Thread".... It's still the force! There is nothing new here! Witches have always used the Force just differently than the Jedi and Sith! Anakin's creation still has no "Canon" explanation BUT this allows us to possibly get one, because of what we learned about the Witches ability to create life by only using the force!
This is the problem we have with this plot point We know that the Disney Star Wars contents rides the wave that is the prequel backlash(for the most part) We also know that Disney wants to justify its choice to bring Palpatine back from the dead, that of which conflicts with the Chosen One Prophecy Some people hate this plot point but it doesn’t matter: it’s a key plot point for the whole saga and it’s confirmed by George Lucas, the creator However, now we have Leslie Headland making a passive aggressive statement about how George isn’t the sole creative authority on the franchise. It’s clearly her making an excuse to do what she wants whether or not it conflicts with George’s vision Referring back to somehow Palpatine returning, we get the impression that Disney is basically moving the goal post: they counter the argument that Palpatine’s resurrection conflicts with the Chosen One Prophecy by rewriting the lore and removing the Chosen One Prophecy
