Nah, as a casual listener of F(x) during their prime they were revolutionary and ahead of the game. Most people that didn't listen to them, later enjoyed their music (myself being a late listener until their Pinocchio era, though their debut La Cha Ta is just as great!) They paved the way for the future SM Ent girl groups. Their songs, vibe/concepts and albums were ahead of its time and can still compete with today's kpop music being released. There's never been a kpop girl group quite like f(x) that's versatile and edgy. They don't fit the mold, but instead set the trend. There's a reason why SHINee and F(x) were close during their active promotions, performed together on music shows together and dropped albums+songs ahead of the trends at the time, yet when played.. sounds as if it just got released today. Both groups set the bar for the SM Ent blueprint for their future kpop girls & boy groups.
Just because someone came out with a song that is generally considered dumb and annoying it doesn't mean they are untalented.. ALSO, her Call Me Maybe single was INCREDIBLY successful despite its negative stigma (in fact I think the song is cute and catchy..just overplayed)...
