Great video thank you my concern, is it okay to eat the skin because of contamination but I love the skin when I fry it, is it safe to consume the skin?

When you catch them, can you bleed them like you do with other fish? I don't think I've ever seen anybody do that on any channel that I subscribe to when they caught pompano. I don't think I've ever seen anybody catch them from a boat either, and for that matter I don't think I've ever seen anybody catch them from the Keys, so I'm not really sure if they're just a fish that doesn't end up "down there" or what? I am however very grateful for the cleaning techniques you provided in this video. Thanks for all you do, I appreciate it God bless!

Nice catch. You need to get all the head meat though. 2 bites of deliciousness missed on each filet.

Good video JC! I like the whole pompano at the end. I didn’t know it till a few years ago and I think a lot of people don’t know it but pompano actually have a lot of head meat that gets missed. I realized it when I saw this video below a few years back. You’ll get a couple extra bites from it. Keep up the great work!

I don’t know what is the deal with the bloodline. All the flavour is there and also the Omega 3. Remember fish have to taste like fish otherwise people you can eat chicken.

I pretty much have cleaned a lot of my freshwater fish that weren't big kind of like the way you're doing it when you don't fillet it. However I never heard about cutting the anal or anus out. What does that mean matter so much if you're gutting it anyway? Just asking?

If you bleed them you have no blood line
