Check out the studio version. You'll like it 5 times as much.
Agree
YES. For one thing, Ringo's drumming in the studio version is amazing-- that's half of what makes this song so great, imo.
@@DawsonCederstrom26 Agreed. Ringo is extremely underrated
Absofrigginlutely. did himself a disservice not starting with the studio.
You are all right of course! But for someone who remembers the night he was shot, it did my heart a world of good to see him performing.
This is my generation: the seventies. You twin are such an open minded person, liking so many different styles of music. Congrats x
The song is actually from the 60s but ok
@@LucySoo1 OK, you are right 1969
Dr Bvo can I ask how old you are? Just wondering. :)
I think the best quality one can have is the quality of having an open mind, allows you to understand a lot more just by experience.
@@tommtommkin Sorry for late reply: I am going to be 60 this year
Yep, you think this kills? Studio version SMOKES it! The production quality is insane.
Literally.
This is just John on his own. But he still tearing it up . You got to get the actual Beatles song it’s better. But you definitely get the idea. I Love how you just love music and you want to hear it all. That’s awesome. Think how educated in music History you are eventually going to be. It’s just awesome to see a young man give it all a try. Hell I don’t think I’ve seen you not like much . Keep it up! P.s. play me some Upchurch!
It really lacks something without Paul's harmonies.
correct
Camp Hill Light Opera Experience - CHLOE it is a lousy version. It lacks the punchiness and perfect timing of the Beatles version.
& drugs. Hahaha.
Damn straight. Not one of them "solo" was as good as the whole.
They were at their best when they were together! I really think they would have recorded together if John hadn't been murdered.
Man I hate you didn't hear the Beatles version with Paul, Ringo, and George
Yes it was only John in 1971 but still a Beatles music. Love your reaction Bro. Keep it up!
This is John Lennon on his own performing a Beatle song. Glad you enjoyed it! John was actually nervous this night, but did an amazing job, as usual!
A lot of the lyrics in this song are basically, purposefully jibberish, just for the Hell of it. Please check out the studio version.
Umm...yea & some drugs.
Hey Jude, A Day in The Life, Twist and Shout. John Lennon- Imagine. Paul McCartney-Live and Let Die, Baby, I'm Amazed; The Beatles- Sargent Peppers Lonely Heart's Club Band, When I'm 64, Come Together
“When I’m 64”?! One of the worst Beatles tracks?? Shouldn’t go there imo. As for John Lennon-“Instant Karma”, “Watching the Wheels” 👍🏽
I love your list, I’d add Here Comes the Sun to make it complete
You'd love reacting to John Lennon 'Instant Karma!'. It's a banger.
John's a total legend! That was him live after the Beatles broke up. It was his song!
John Lennon was a bloody freakin genius and was taken from us far too soon!
Such a pure reaction! Loved this 💜
Agree w many comments here, studio version better, but it’s def cool watching Lennon perform live. Love your reactions, Twin. Rock! 🤘
This missed Paul's bass, it's too epic.
I agree... Paul’s bass blows it out of the water.
Everything they wrote and sang had a deep meaning...had a purpose...best band ever
This was the greatest rocker of all times and probably one of his finest tunes.
No other song has said what we need right now as well as this one!
The Late Great John Lennon. Good reaction.
This was recorded after the Beatles already had broken up. John Lennon was with the Plastic Ono Band (named for his wife Yoko Ono). You need the Abbey Road album by the Beatles if you wish to hear the original version of the song.
Gotta listen to the full Beatles songs. Unless we are talking about Imagine, one of the greatest songs of all time. Go back to the beginning and listen to Twist and Shout.
Was thrilled to hear you say don't let me down you really liked. Definitely one of my favorite songs by them.
Well done young man...
Well Done👍
The lyrics are crazy...ju ju eyeballs.....love it!
One if my all time favorite songs! I can’t sing this without smiling.
I grew up on the Beatles songs as well as a lot of the songs you review. Happy, happy to see you guys reviewing and commenting on the artists and music I know and love and still listen to.
Young sirs, i stumbled upon your channel and I love watching you guys listen to the music of my generation, this is all the soundtrack to my life. Great to get a fresh view of all the great music. Would love to see your reaction to Muddy Waters Mannish Boy. Much peace to ya!
Yeah! Happy you are listening to this band ! Amazing, and they are the foundation of rock n more! Love me some Beatles!🙏💙💚💜peace n love!
Beatles. A Day in the Life
I love, love, love John Lennon!!!!! Thanks for listening to this song!
I'm 60 years old and I like all music. Love your reaction to the music! 😁❤
I saw this and said hmmm. How? they weren't touring after 66. Yep just Lennon
Love your enthusiasm! You and Fred have come so far! Hard work paying off! Good for you 💓
This was John Lennon playing live with The Elephant's Memory Band, a local New York City Band, at Madison Square Garden in 1972. It was a benefit concert for Willow Brook State School put together by Geraldo Rivera.
In general it's always better to start with the studio version. Every time!!! After all, it's how all of us heard them all first.... you can then check out live versions of anything you'd like. So please, please, always! 😉
This Lennon alone...check out the Beatles together doing it...the arrangement is mean.
Ooh, I was so happy to see your reaction to this classic! Yep😁
I love the studio version better though on this one.
This came out when I was 13 and it was one of my favorites. Me and my friends used to sing it on the way to school.
Great song! One of the best ever! I don't care how old you are or what color, this song will make you jam.
There is a RUclips video of John Lennon in 1968 with some famous musicians playing Yer Blues from the White Album, which sounds amazing, too. I found it one day and went nuts! I believe it was from a television special on the BBC. Check it out!
Rock and roll circus of the rolling stones.
Eric clapton on lead guitar keith richards on bass an mitch mitchel on drums.✌
And the band called dirty mac, sorry by my english.
@@p.b.palaciosalmafuerte3463 Yes! It was very good! It made me happy to see John performing and fronting a group two years after The Beatles stopped touring.
Beatles... Hey Jude, Penny Lane, Strawberry Fields, Love Me Do, Lady Madonna... you could spend weeks just on the Beatles, nevermind their various solo careers.
Love these kids. The only reactors who are open to any and all genres of music and smart enough to tell the difference.
Most diverse prolific musicians ever
I've never seen this live performance. Great reaction. 👍
You are a blessing to humanity! God bless you!
Really hope you come visit Liverpool. You will get a very warm welcome x
You youngsters have no idea what you missed!! Those were the best days 👌🏻🥰
This is John Lennon live in Madison square garden 1972
Awesome download I love this performance dog!!!
Except Lennon bungled the lyrics pretty bad. At one point he was just making shit up. Even so, it's fricking John Lennon! I'll take it!
betsy buckmaster I mean look at the lyrics originally, just making things up
@@Taz-yr6xd Even John said at the end that he got the words wrong.
betsy buckmaster it’s not so much about the words, it’s all about the FLOW and Lennon had more than any rocket has ever had probably
I love watching your reactions.
Hey, guys! Have you ever heard Wilson Pickett’s version of “Hey, Jude?”Wilson Pickett’s voice is so full of emotion and Duane Allman is playing the guitar! It’s unreal! I think the story is...they recorded it in the Muscle Shoals. AL studio while everyone else had gone to lunch. I think you would enjoy it!
Heck Yeah. Love it I'm now back to 22 instead of 72 jamming in a Club non stop.😂😎
John Lennon, the most talented, unique and innovative Beatle. Also very humble and kind. Let me hear John and I don't need the other Beatles.
@Yer Blues My brother met him several times through his work and that's how he described John to me. Other artists he had met were very arrogant and that's why John stood out to him.
The band backing John here is Elephant's Memory.
I've been enjoying your reaction videos so much! I would love for you to do reaction videos to the album versions of "Strawberry Fields Forever" and "Helter Skelter" especially for Ringo's drumming!
I'm glad you like this! This was John Lennon playing with other people, but he's doing a song he recorded with the Beatles on their Abbey Road album. John also screwed up the words to the song, lol! He always did that.
In my life by the Beatles. Think I'll play it at my funeral.
or maybe Queen, These are the Day of Our Life... or both😁
Oh gosh I forgot how much I loved this song.
Aw....so good to see this video ❤
Love this. Thanks. It's my new happy place.
I love your reaction!💜
My dad photographed them when they first played in USA . Thank you 🙏
Saw the Beatles on tv on the Ed Sullivan show when I was 8 years old! Great memory.
I know that the Beatles are hard to react to. But just like rap, r&b, lyrics will sell a song...and they were the best!
Listen to the album version of the song, bro. Paul McCartney's bass line there was fire!
Great taste in music !
Request: She Came in through the Bathroom Window - The Beatles (1969) Great song. You’ll get a real kick out of it! Promise.
Joe Cocker does a killer version of this song as well
Check out the album version. This is awesome too.
NO BEATLES HERE DUDE, JUST LENNON FROM MADISON SQUARE GARDEN. IN 72 , A BEATLE SONG BUT JOHNS JT FROM MEX
Ya know I’m so lucky to have been born when I was .... the music
Imagine hearing this at 10 and deciding this was the way....
The Beatles were the GOLD STANDARD. They were inactive class by themselves. Everyone wanted to be as great as The Beatles.
That's in a class by themselves!
LOVE watching you!!!!
Not the Beatles guys it’s John with a different band . Check out come together on the Abbey Road album
Please check out Hozier - Take Me To Church. I think you'll like it. You also need to listen to more UK Grime like Stormzy. The UK got barz!!!
The Beatles were Great 👍 Keith's ancestry the British!!! Thank you Tim. Joan and Keith Bates ❤
I was going to reccomend you react to this song. Glad to see it pop up in my feed. This song RAWKS!!!! 💘 💘 This isn't polished version, but it's beautiful all the same.
Love the bass in this song
You should listen to LAYLA, by Derek and the Dominoes (which is one of the great guitarist, Eric Clapton's, bands)
I'm ADDICTED! you guyz are like Columbus discovering the new world 😀 my new yt fascination! Keep doin it! My late nite go to! Can't stop watching!!! LUVLUVLUV Y'ALL ❤👏
I'm 53 dude. When I was 22, I played Abbey Road (The Beatles album with Come Together) hundreds of times. Smoke weed and play records with my friends-- that's what I did when I wasn't working. Close to my life now. Ha.
You seriously have to listening to a day in a life by The Beatles wrote by John Lennon, this song is from another fucking galaxy!!!
Another great video!
Love your reaction
Can you guys do a reaction to "Hey Jude" or "Let It Be"? So many wonderful Beatles songs, you really can't go wrong with any of them.
see the studio version....learn the Beatles! love the Beatles!!❤❤❤❤
Lennon was about Peace and Love! He got taken by a senseless violence! R.I.P
" One thing I can tell you is you got to be free ! '
Love this reaction business
Loved it and I subscribed you👍👍👍👍😁
That was lennon's band " Elephant's Memory " with yoko ono on keyboards !
I love this one!!
I AM A HUGE JOHN LENNON FAN
yeah, wish you had picked the Beatles version, all the parts in the studio are so cool. its a great track.
There a version by Robin Williams and Bobbie McFerrin ….a must listen for the pure talent of two artists in their own right.
Recommendations for Beatles songs:
The Ballad of John and Yoko.
Blackbird.
Obla Dee Obla Da
A Day in the Life

A Little Help From My Friends (Beatles version and the cover version by Joe Cocker)
Lucy in the Sky With Diamonds (Beatles and try cover version by Elton John)
Let It Be
I Wanna Hold Your Hand

....and there's so much more it's crazy! But this should show you how many ways this band could rock, entire albums of hits, one after the other, not a bad song in the bunch . Send you more later.
You should watch some of the Beatles rooftop concert. So good
I love their later stuff.
You need to hear the Beatles as a group
I like The Beatles and I love this song!..Michael Jackson covered this song, You should do a reaction to his version!!!
