But the central point is that Walter lived as a vampire Hunter for Hellsing, yet he didn’t do it because he hates vampires or because he owes his loyalty to Hellsing, but simply because that’s just what life guided him to. He lives to fight and to be… Walter C. Dornez. 3. If you’ve seen or read the original story of Dracula, then you’ll be familiar with the character of Mina Harker. While Alucard was Count Dracula, he became infatuated with her, and turned her into a Vampire. After this, Dracula gained a whole new respect for humans, and especially Abraham, who brought his body in to the organisation. Although in the original, there was no romantic attraction between Dracula and Mina. That's something that was brought into the lore afterwards. And I agree more with Crispin Freeman's assessment of him in that Alucard allows Integra to be his master because having his power restricted makes things more interesting for himself.

But now that Alucard absorbed Schrodinger he's the definitive strongest.

in this case of lore, by being an undead, a lifeless container, by using predation without consent, alucard subjugated souls with dark magic by drinking their blood, and as vehicle for life, this robbed them of freewill and reincarnation fully subjugated with necromancy(soul puppets similar to specters who reside in alucard's blood and are given their shape back by using alchemy with their blood as intermediary when restrictions are released - a portable ghoul in the shape of a blood cell. ) . you can think of them as bleach gikongans such as Kon. By using dark magic or alchemy similar to skinwalkers he changes his shape into one that is similar to the soul he consumed( some say the soul frequency affects the body shape by vibrating, similar to reincarnation stories where people have a similar face to someone already dead) and loses souls each time he is defeated. his eyes also change with the amount of blood he consumed, darker the more he ate; in the end his eyes became similar if not equal to the catboy. not really sure why luke valentine inside the body of alucard transformed as a dog retains his will, probably it was so worthless that he may have unconsciously lost control of it? seras obtained a willing soul, thus a servant, and bernadotte retained his consciousness. since the only real vampires are alucard, seras and the girl shown in this episode( i don't remember if this girl really consumed someone else other than alucard, but she still freed herself from master and trainee relationship by drinking alucard's blood so a fully fledge vampire if i remember properly; not sure if she remained a human tho, or was killed by hellsing dude in episode 2 flashback) even if killing people does give bad karma, it can be redeemed by reincarnating and suffering( similar to the story of that serial killer Angulimala who followed the buddha and partially redeemed himself , but in many cultures and holy texts, drinking blood willingly ( not as a 2d density counsciousness - a carnivore animal as a cat for example but as a 3d density counsciousness human with the ability of great choice) is really bad more than killing (even the buddha was angry when offered human meat in disguise) being a volountary monster brings you into the negative path for the 4th and 5th density of consciousness. therefore, the major, is still human with "values" as a human being regardless of his mechanical body or warlike choices, alucard is a full monster devoid of humanity similar to what happened in the final talk with anderson. the abridged version funnily enough actually gives explanations in an ironic way so it is funny whenever i think about it.
loved the reactions! There is also a old Hellsing anime, it was made before the manga was complete so the story and the tone is different it's more horror-ish and the animation ins't as clean. It has that old anime charm
Pip's soul is able to be within Seras because he willingly gave his blood to her. As Schrödinger told Zorin, "Having blood offered is a very different experience than taking it." And because Pip offered his blood, rather than Seras just taking it, he is able to be her "familiar", in a way.

So, the Werewolf Captain is somewhere between Victoria and Alucar when it comes to his "power level", tho still closer to Victoria's level. Ofc he isnt JUST a regular Werewolf. Similar to Alucard he was enhanced beyond his normal abilities via technology of The Doctor and probably some Black Magic as well. His body is nearly invulnerable to physical damage, so he's way tougher than Alucard and he has regenerative abilities comparable to Alucard's as well, and he can turn into mist both completely and partially.

alucard human shapes and colors, going from black dracula( vlad tepes of slovacchia the impaler/ cruel and merciless ruler) to the white clothed girl in the ww2 era (which rappresent starting feminine energy of spiritual recollection) into red alucard rappresent the alchemic processes from black to white to red( red is not evil actually it is supposed to be something of spiritual rebirth and ego anchoring by finding oneself from the shadow self using the true self in between them) i'm not carl jung for psychology but i'm sure it was related to something of the AION book. same goes with seras that changes from white police girl uniform, to yellow hellsing member, to red full vampire. don't really remember what yellow was for so my bad.
This show is crazy, so much happens in so little time and yet it feels like it was so much longer than 10 episodes. Alucard wanted to die, but only at the hands of a man, he admired those that decided to keep and embrace their immortality. The Major wanted to beat Alucard, but ironically he ended up just making him immortal instead, but I guess he kind of won in the end because he's now denied Alucard the one thing he wants more than anything and that was to die at the hands of a mortal. I have no idea what happens after the end because once Integra died Alucard will no longer have a master and I don't know if that's a good or bad thing.
a simple version due to Schrödingers blood, Alacard needs to be aware of himself but now he to millions of 'selves' inside of him so he can not be 'himself' so he need time to purge all those extra souls so only his core self was left as Schrödingers power allows him to live no matter what as long as he thinks he does. that body at the end was Alcuard's wife and his first vampire he made.
Please add the Soul Eater anime to your react list, the dub specifically. It has some amazing fight scenes and a standout soundtrack. The last quarter shoots off from the original material, but it's still fantastic. It's a shame but there's almost no react content for the show at all 😥 Only thing to note is that the first three episodes, whilst great, are there to introduce the main cast.
honestly, hellsing really does remind me of the Devil May Cry series, mostly on the bizarre things that Alucard can do.
