You guys brought up all the reasons I went with my 4 door Sasquatch. I have a 9 year old daughter and having her climb in and out would have been a nightmare, plus the extra room in the cargo area is nice
When I was 9 years old, I was climbing shoddily made tree houses two stories high. Kids need to limber up if they can't get back there IMO. Also, why isn't the kid just doing her own seatbelt? But it’s def less convenient than a 4dr. But We also have a Toyota Highlander as our grandparents/friends/family car. I would have loved a 5th/middle seat in the 2dr, it would be perfect then.
A real Bronco will have 1 door on each side and it looks better. But I understand the needs and accessibility of the 4 door and pains me to say that Ford has to make a 4 door otherwise they just wouldn't sell enough 2 doors to justify making a Bronco.
Is there a lot of road noise in the hard top version and is the overall ride quality smooth? I’ve been considering buying one and I have newborn twin girls and I certainly don’t want buy something they will be uncomfortable in.
Sadly our time in the 2-door was limited to driving around out mountain town. So we didn’t get a chance to properly judge interior noise at higher speeds. That said, the hard top is definitely the quieter choice. And ride quality is good, both in the 2-door and our 4-door Sasquatch.
