always thought dentons where made by mercian. my mate I used to ride with went into dentons back in the early 90s & ordered a 753 with super record, cinelli bars & stem regal saddle, gp4s etc 👌I still remember colin & dave eddy. Ive still got my dentons tub roll 👍happy days
Yep, from the early days of Dentons in the 50s, Mercian built the frames. This was after Ron Robson built a handful himself. In the 80s the frame building was done in a partnership between Colin and Paul Donohue / Kevin Winter. It then moved to M Steels and Dave Yates in the 90s. It was Colin and Dave Eddy that refined by amateur garden shed mechanical skills, and Ron who provided the dry wit and plentiful cups of tea!
