Wonderful presentation of research efforts towards development of mRNA vaccine for malaria by Dr shailja Singh and Dr Anand Ranganathan. I wish them success in their great efforts.

I think we should have choices and provisions for both : New Broad Spectrum Vaccines and also .. New Targetted ..Specific Microbe designed ... Vaccines.
As also... alongside.. General Tonics and Prophylactics against Microbial Communicative and Infectious Diseases.

Both SARS 1 and 2 started from China. Middle East SARS epidemic was limited to Saudi Arabia. Because viruses mutate frequently,a vaccine made today may not work in future. Natural vaccination is the herd immunity which follows an epidemic. You can never know which virus among millions of viruses in existence will hit you. The proximity of animals and birds to humans is the main reason for these epidemics. Bats in the case of Covid.

There are two types of DNAs and RNAs are present in the Nucleus as well as in the Mitochondria in the cells.. Mitochondrial DNAs and RNAs are the sort that can effect better immunity...via a process also called NeoLamarckian Evolution..basically localised mutations for the better.. .. through Boosted Immunity.

While these Vaccines are being researched and produced...we should not suppress Alternative Medical Remedies from all other cultures towards : Providing Relief from Symptoms, Relief from Debilitation, Providing Prophylactics against these...and Also from Conducting Medical and Pharma Research in the Domain of Healthcare. n Disease Elimination and Control ...and preventing the Spread of Diseases and the Harmful Pathogens

Nobody asks the basic question why do we need a malaria vaccine?
Anyway it has effective treatment, it's mortality is reduced and with improved hygiene it will not be a public safety concern like in the west. So when you will come up with this very expensive commodity, it may not be relevant for India.
