There's a non-zero chance that they made Sunday SP positive on his light cone because summons might use SP the same way their summoner does, in which case getting an extra SP means you get to use skill on both of them more often.
For now he is SP neutral without his LC and SP Pos with his LC. We dont know yet if he can advance only the upcoming individual summons as well. But still, I think in that case, he would still be SP pos.
For me, who's F2P, I'll try to go for the LC, and since we only have 3 summon units for now, so his E1 is a rerun eidolon when a lot of units will not benefit on it. Hoping for an E1S1 for me tho!! hehehe

What if the Rememberance character prefers a hypercarry buffer than an aoe buffer. That's the thing with future investment you make use of it to make planned decisions of possible outcomes. But at the end of the day Sunday is still an amazing unit who can be used outside of his main teams (summons). "It's better to have it and not need it, than need it and not have it." - You might see this quote as justification but that's dependent on the player's perspective. If the player makes use of this quote repeatedly whilst saying that "It's for future investment." then yeah that's self justification. But if that player makes use of this quote when pulling for a character and their LC and/or a copy or a few, then just save while waiting patiently for new unit/s that work well with them, then that's not self justification that's future proofing your account.
His LC is light years ahead of RM’s, they don’t compare. Pulling RM’s sig when you have S5 MotP is an objectively bad decision, unless you’re a sweaty speed runner.
I wholeheartedly agree with you, and I am aware that both LCs don't equal in quality. As a f2p, RM's is the only limited one I own due to the art piece solely. Then I realized how much more comfortable my team has become thanks to the extra SP. As like you said, the extra energy effect is mostly useful for sweaty players, but I found it does come handy in PF as well for casuals.
Am I missing something? Sunday's LC would still work with Bronya and Sparkle if Im reading it correctly. Especially Hyperspeed Bronya and Sparkle. They can't single target on their ult, but they pretty much skill every turn. His LC would still be pretty good on them. Might be the second best on Sparkle behind S5DDD.
For Bronya it's great but for Sparkle it's kinda unnecessary imo. Sparkle doesn't need the energy and she's already very SP positive if you include her technique giving 3 SP at three start. The damage% is nice though since it lasts for 3 turns, but I don't think that's worth running over Dx3 imo. For Bronya it would be a big QoL boost since she would get 1 SP every other skill instead of other ultimate like her signature. Plus the damage% buff lasting for 3 turns is nice for her since it actually gives her a buff when the DPS is ahead of her in a -1 speed setup.

Not exactly a great explanation but I get what he means. He's right about Tingyun and Sparkle, but wrong about Bronya imo since it lessens some of her issues.
I will go for the LC. Honestly, I think it is better to get more "mechanics" or extra effects rather than more and more damage if at the end of the day you can clear every single game mode with or without reducing the defense. Getting SP is more beneficial than ignoring defense in general.

It's the light cone for me. For E1 I don't know if I'll even like any of the upcoming characters with servants. No point in investing into support for characters I might not want to get.
Personally I'm probably going for e1 since it would significantly buff my Jing Yuan and future summon dps but will test him out before I decide going for the e1 this is mostly cause in the base banner I've got quite lucky and gotten the bronya lighcone 3 times in total through the time I've played the game, which kinda does substitute his lc and I do have character that are pretty skill point positive most of the time so really all i would be missing out is on the extra 45% damage increase from his LC.

My limited T5 dps are Ratio, Feixiao and Rappa, Sunday can work well with the first two but there's a little detail, I don't have Ruan Mei so I'm really in need of a break support right now and between the 3 break dps Rappa is the one who most want Fugue in the team. I'll go after E0S0 but if I lose the 50/50 them I'll have to wait for a rerun because Fugue is way more valuable for my account right now
You are on correct path. Save after getting Fugue so you have enough pulls in the nezt few pathes to get a Summon DPS AND a Summon based Harmony (Sunday and probably we will get another)
He has def shred on E1 If you have a lot of Def shred that’s awesome. If not it’s marginal increase. His LC smooths out sp generation. I would S1 then E1
i want to pull for LC but as f2p im afraid i waste my pulls and somehow end in losing the weapon or something...at least if i wished for e1 and lost 50 50 i can guarantee some of the new chara later on
E1, her lc doesn't fix any issues in her kit, just stat stick, not worth getting, e1 however can turn any unit in game into rainbow break dps, lingsha, himeko, welt, sampo, etc, boothill will be able to kill small enemies ignoring toughness completely, pretty broken e1

@@_mako it will be hard to perform, with e2 bronya u can make like close to 200 spd boothill, and low spd from sunday doesn't help, maybe something like eagle sunday, or 2+2+2 spd, he doesn't need sacerdos in break team anyway
should I go for Sunday E1 S1 and skip Fugue until her rerun since I already have Ruan Mei E0 S1. I also have Firefly at E0 S0 so I don’t know if it’s more beneficial to go for her Eidolons or Fugue to buff her.
firefly benefits infinitely more from her own eidolons than from replacing stelle with e0 fugu. e1 fugu is a different story, but firefly's e1 and e2 are still better.

Arguably more so since her skill is also considered summon damage and her ult doesn't do damage so almost all of her damage is summon damage. Jing yuan still does alot of ult and skill damage so a smaller percentage of his total damage output is summon damage. Topaz with her 50% vulnerability aswell makes this a very potent hyper carry set up which previously topaz was not very popular in.
I'm pulling on him for my well built and waiting in the wings Jing Yuan so e1s1 it is. I have a guarantee for my first copy so hopefully I win the single 50/50 :'')
I'd say Tingyun utilizes the LC the best but Bronya gets buffed more from it. Tingyun can trigger the LC's passive with her ult too, which Bronya and Sparkle can't do since it only works on single target abilities. Also you can always choose to use Tingyun's skill again early if it would get her ultimate back and every skill gives her 20% speed for 1 turn too. I'd argue it's worse on Sparkle because she doesn't need the energy since she has a 3 turn ult anyway and the SP is nice, but she is already SP+ so she really doesn't need it. The damage% buff is nice though. I think Sparkle can just use Dx3 though and be fine. Probably best on Bronya because she needs the energy and she will get 1 SP every 2 skills, which will help her be much less SP- throughout a fight. Plus the damage% buff lasts for 3 turns, which means she will be giving a buff at all times instead of only when she uses her skill.
Still haven't seen sacerdos tingyun with sunday lc using skill every time, i wonder how often she will charge her ult that way, she will spend only 1 sp every 2 turns, with Sunday lc on sunday and some sp positive sustain it can be pretty broken duo for any energy using dps
They need to buff 1 ally with skill and ultimate so they can stack fast. Sparkle and Bronya stack slower because the only 1 target buff they have is skill only.

A turn is the top left when they are at 0 AV. Ultimates and some characters have extra actions like with Seele's resurgence that don't count as a normal turn, so buffs don't tick down.
tingyun is 50/60 energy (before/after e6), sunday is 48. considering that he gives yunli extra actions, it will result in more energy overall. not to mention that more actions = more self-heals, which drastically improves the survivability of sustainless yunli. and the debuff cleanse on top. even though yunli is a counter unit, sunday is now surprisingly even her BiS alongside robin. the robin+sunday core is just generally by far the strongest in the game.
@ yunli + wing duo + tingyun should be a legitimate sustainless team comp. Ofc I think that you may need Sunday lightcone on either Sunday or tingyun to make it comfy with skill points.
e1 for more damage only on summoners, and good luck dealing with the energy and sp issues😂 s1 for more damage on all current units besides kingyuan and topaz.
No. You get Sunday's lightcone for Sunday. No way you are taking it off him and putting it on another harmony support. He is the best user for it, he is the best harmony for dps supports. No way any other harmony can use it better than him.
I've not seen anyone talk about it but sparkles lightcone also works really well with Sunday. Since he gets a skill point back every turn so long as beatified is up he's able to get the 4 skill points needed to trigger mask every 4 turns for 4 turns. This allows him to buff crit rate by 30% and about 38% more crit damage which if we want to go further with fu xuan we are buffing crit rate by a staggering 42% here. Now obviously we run into energy issue here keeping the beatified effect up but with rng it should be okay or if you plan on using him with huo huo.
The problem is that is has really bad uptime and makes him skill point negative. He needs his lightcone to be sp positive and he actually doesn't generate 4 sp a turn. He only generates whule using the skill on his ult meaning the first turn he does not get a stack and last turn of his ultamite does not gain a stack. Without external energy sparkle lc is actually uselss on him as it takes him 5 turns just to proc the effect he cannot generate a skill point on his final 3rd turn because he cannot get a perm ult uptime and the countdown goes down as soon as he takes a turn before he can even skill. Bronya LC is superior in every way.
@uyeah1234 the lightcone activates mask immediately for 3 turns, so you would have the effect for 3 turns and activate it again on his 5th so you would only lose 1 turn of uptime

His "dowsides" are so negligible it's not even funny. S1 Sunday pretty much killed Sparkle as a unit. If she was a 1.0 character it wouldn't have been that much of a problem, but powercreeping her in every possible way so soon is just a scam.

E1, her lc doesn't fix any issues in her kit, just stat stick, not worth getting, e1 however can turn any unit in game into rainbow break dps, lingsha, himeko, welt, sampo, etc, boothill will be able to kill small enemies ignoring toughness completely, pretty broken e1

So i would still suggest to try e0s1, cuz rmc gonna synergize pretty good with hypercarry buffer, dealing true dmg based on dmg dealt by main dps, so he looks like pretty future proof right now
@@greenvega yeah, the LC is really difficult to pass up on. its better than bronya's LC on both bronya and sparkle too (getting an SP every other skill vs every other ult). and i have an E2 bronya that i run with boothill already (i dont have ruan mei)

@@_mako it will be hard to perform, with e2 bronya u can make like close to 200 spd boothill, and low spd from sunday doesn't help, maybe something like eagle sunday, or 2+2+2 spd, he doesn't need sacerdos in break team anyway

firefly benefits infinitely more from her own eidolons than from replacing stelle with e0 fugu. e1 fugu is a different story, but firefly's e1 and e2 are still better.

sundays lc is just way too good, guarantees 3 turn ult + gives double the sp of sparkle. And cant forget the dmg buff, which is nice to have.

I think if you have an S3 bronya cone, his lc really don't do much except for sp generation. Otherwise LC first all the way.

Arguably more so since her skill is also considered summon damage and her ult doesn't do damage so almost all of her damage is summon damage.
Jing yuan still does alot of ult and skill damage so a smaller percentage of his total damage output is summon damage.
Topaz with her 50% vulnerability aswell makes this a very potent hyper carry set up which previously topaz was not very popular in.

I do not think that Sundays Lightcone is better on Tingyun than on Sparkle/Bronya since Sparkle/Bronya will use skill every turn, Tingyun won't.
I'd say Tingyun utilizes the LC the best but Bronya gets buffed more from it.
Tingyun can trigger the LC's passive with her ult too, which Bronya and Sparkle can't do since it only works on single target abilities. Also you can always choose to use Tingyun's skill again early if it would get her ultimate back and every skill gives her 20% speed for 1 turn too.
I'd argue it's worse on Sparkle because she doesn't need the energy since she has a 3 turn ult anyway and the SP is nice, but she is already SP+ so she really doesn't need it. The damage% buff is nice though. I think Sparkle can just use Dx3 though and be fine.
Probably best on Bronya because she needs the energy and she will get 1 SP every 2 skills, which will help her be much less SP- throughout a fight. Plus the damage% buff lasts for 3 turns, which means she will be giving a buff at all times instead of only when she uses her skill.
Still haven't seen sacerdos tingyun with sunday lc using skill every time, i wonder how often she will charge her ult that way, she will spend only 1 sp every 2 turns, with Sunday lc on sunday and some sp positive sustain it can be pretty broken duo for any energy using dps

They need to buff 1 ally with skill and ultimate so they can stack fast. Sparkle and Bronya stack slower because the only 1 target buff they have is skill only.

What is a turn for a character?
Is it acting 1 time or is it the turn we can see on the up left of the screen?
A turn is the top left when they are at 0 AV.
Ultimates and some characters have extra actions like with Seele's resurgence that don't count as a normal turn, so buffs don't tick down.
Would yunli have infinite uptime on her ultimate with tingyun and Sunday? Maybe no sustain needed since she taunts?
tingyun is 50/60 energy (before/after e6), sunday is 48. considering that he gives yunli extra actions, it will result in more energy overall.
not to mention that more actions = more self-heals, which drastically improves the survivability of sustainless yunli. and the debuff cleanse on top.
even though yunli is a counter unit, sunday is now surprisingly even her BiS alongside robin. the robin+sunday core is just generally by far the strongest in the game.
@ yunli + wing duo + tingyun should be a legitimate sustainless team comp. Ofc I think that you may need Sunday lightcone on either Sunday or tingyun to make it comfy with skill points.

No. You get Sunday's lightcone for Sunday. No way you are taking it off him and putting it on another harmony support. He is the best user for it, he is the best harmony for dps supports. No way any other harmony can use it better than him.
It's obviously best on Sunday lmao. He's taking into consideration nuanced situations and possible future harmonies.

I've not seen anyone talk about it but sparkles lightcone also works really well with Sunday.
Since he gets a skill point back every turn so long as beatified is up he's able to get the 4 skill points needed to trigger mask every 4 turns for 4 turns.
This allows him to buff crit rate by 30% and about 38% more crit damage which if we want to go further with fu xuan we are buffing crit rate by a staggering 42% here.
Now obviously we run into energy issue here keeping the beatified effect up but with rng it should be okay or if you plan on using him with huo huo.
The problem is that is has really bad uptime and makes him skill point negative. He needs his lightcone to be sp positive and he actually doesn't generate 4 sp a turn. He only generates whule using the skill on his ult meaning the first turn he does not get a stack and last turn of his ultamite does not gain a stack. Without external energy sparkle lc is actually uselss on him as it takes him 5 turns just to proc the effect he cannot generate a skill point on his final 3rd turn because he cannot get a perm ult uptime and the countdown goes down as soon as he takes a turn before he can even skill. Bronya LC is superior in every way.
@uyeah1234 the lightcone activates mask immediately for 3 turns, so you would have the effect for 3 turns and activate it again on his 5th so you would only lose 1 turn of uptime
