I think people are being fairly toxic saying he cant be pred. He is a new player, not in ELO hell, and when going into a moba style game with all these abilities and heroes, it is extremely overwhelming and you are unable to think clearly. His aim was good, but his own movement was throwing it off (due to movement in the two games being very different), but without the proper positioning it is worthless (hence shroud, and aimbotters not winning every game). I think he will easily be able to get plat once he plays enough of the game to understand it at a basic level, but at the moment he looks like a rabbit in the headlights.
Ain't no way this guy is pred in Apex without being carried or using cheats. His brain lag and aim are definitely that of a silver.

He became a predator in a season in which it was too easy to simply play around the area since very little health dropped, Likewise, aim is not that bad but overwach2 is faster than Apex, not in the sense of mobility or things like that, but in the sense of action/reaction and not everyone gets used to it that's why is that those who leave Overwatch 2 being a GM or TOP500 in other games have a better chance of reaching high ranks because they already have maximum gamesens and teamwork

Bro is just not gold, especially if he’s solo queue. For a dps solo q only player to rank up to gold and above, you need to be able to get multiple kills on your own a few times in every game, at least one time, to flip a fight or to dominate the other side. He’s completely silver or bronze, his movement and cursor is just beyond horrible…
"I was pred" is just what he used to differentiate his application from others. Prime example of lying on your CV but then you get to be interviewed by a tech lead. ggs.

Once I met a player in Monster Hunter, and he told me he was a master in OW. We decided to play together, his profile was opened, I checked and he was silver, never higher. Dude just did not know ranks icons and believed he was a Master \o/ Thinking, something similar here with this Apex Pred. since there is a badge named Apex Predator (Win a game while being the Kill Leader)
You're very generous and nice haha. The guy said not since season 9 which implies its not the badge. Either he got carried to pred or he's lying. His game sense needs massive amounts of work. Feeds way ahead of his team, constantly stands in front of his tank, keeps dropping soldier healing pod and leaving it, etc.

I was the soj/genji/mei, and while his gameplay def speaks for itself in volumes this guy was dead silent in comms. I don’t think I heard him even once, and he got staggered so many times and ulted when we didn’t need it/already lost the fight, and didn’t ult when we did need it.
Yeah this was hard to watch, absolutely not gold let alone plat. He was like a lost puppy.

As a bastion main, him using bastion wasnt so great in my opinion. Firstly, When they were in the map "Samoa", he used turret very poorly like in 3:33, he used turret as a long ranged weapon. Just use RECON!!! Secondly, his nade also wasnt the best like when bap placed Matrix, he shot it at the ground? Now yes that might be a common mistake BUT YOU COULD LITERALLY SEE THE ENEMY TEAM. Lastly, didn't seem to use any sort of techs for bastion like "THE SUPER JUMP"( used with a nade to boost you to jump further or jump higher ). Even if with other mains like souj and soldier, and him saying he was PRED in APEX, he should've adapted how to play them and at least been MID DIAMOND AT LEAST.

Im suprised that when he plays Soldier, he didnt animation cancels most of the time for his ult or even for a simple reload because those things can actually help. He also doesnt really sprint much, considering movement in apex youd think he would have better movement.

I don't think he ever looked behind him, the genji going in front of his face and in his back line during the Circuit Royale map was really bugging me. Definitely not pred in Apex, he needs to learn all of these heros' abilites, use his ult more, and not lose focus on the people who are high target priorities. Also, he didn't run as Soldier 76?

You probably can tbh, this guy likely belongs in bronze. I saw no redeeming qualities in his play other than having ok-ish aim but most of the time he was just shooting the tank which is hard to miss anyway...
@@HammerHead-yx5dy I was a very good battlefield sniper back in the day and high in the online scores (top 1000), i was straight up high diamond by picking widow and i had not realy a clue about the maps or being countered or whatever, i knew where to run too and to follow my team that's it. As someone who has over 1400 hours of playtime on Apex and only around 70 to 80 hours in total on Overwatch, he does not look like he would be a pred player on Apex and for the people saying "It doesn't transfer over blah blah blah", it does transfer over, sure does it take a minute when you start a new game like Overwatch to get used to every new character and weapon and ability they have? Yes, but if you are good at a game like Apex it wouldn't take that long to get good at a game like Overwatch, for instance my only real big issues when I play Overwatch is not knowing the sound cues well enough, things like playing cover, smooth aim, being aware of your team and enemy positions, all that stuff can carry over. I think this guy most likely never reached pred and was just saying that cause of ego and if he does have a pred badge then it most likely was not gotten legit, if you aren't aware Apex has always had a issue with stuff like that from day 1 of the games release.

Soldier 76/Sojourn are supposed to be the easiest transition characters in OW2 because their kit resembles weapons you might see in other games. Even then, he still didn’t play great with either one of them. Skeptical
I was a strict Gears of War player....almost participated in my first tournament in 2016...reaches an ONYX 3 RANK in Gears 4....
Then switched over to overwatch...Sombra main...won almost every match upon playing for the first time
if u showed me this gameplay and told me he was pred i would not believe you for a second. it looks like when he does something he has to look down to make sure he presses the right button lol
Apex to overwatch is an unbelievably hard transition if your console, because in apex you can completely customize your aim sensitivity, but in overwatch you're very limited on what you can do. Not to mention the movement is much faster in high rank apex. You can't tap strafe or wall jump in overwatch either. And ads doesn't exist for 95% of the characters, and 100% of who he played here lol. There's also attachments that you can have to make you more comfortable with how the gun feels, in overwatch you kinda just have to deal with what you get.

Whenever a professional or high rank player in any kind of shooter switches to another shooter, 9/10 times they will always be high rank in them.
Even if guns are different, game mechanics are different, etc. one thing that’s always the same is crosshair placement and mouse control. Things that are universal in aiming in every aim game there is.
Can look OwL, Pro Fortnite Players, Predators, Radiants etc etc. All get to that tier level equivalent of the game they come from.
I personally started Overwatch, S1 of Ow2, but since I came from being Radiant, Predator, Being a Good Fortnite Player (19k Earned), it allowed me to reach t500 by S4, and have been t500 ever since.
The problem with shrimp is I do believe he’s ex-predator in apex, but didn’t do it solo. His aim is smooth, not necessarily flicky, and in the early parts of Apex and even now to an extent is good. Chat thought he was console due to the smoothness in his tracking.
The problem as to why he most likely isn’t high rank, is because as said, since he didn’t get to predator solo, he probably lacks the core experience and decision making of a high rank player.
I think shrimp definitely could get to high ranks if only he focused on the key values in Ow. As his positioning, decision making, and overall game sense, looks subpar.
Call of duty never had below a 2.0 kd, *tactical drop shotter* but when I swapped to over watch I sucked for the first couple months. He's not taking high ground and every shooter game knows high ground is everything.
Seems like he needs to study each map and each heroes' abilities.

The fascinating part about OW is and always was you can hit gold/plat ( the avrg of the avrg) if ether you aim OR your game sense/understanding needed was good. But
If you wanted to climb past that, you need to improve on the other part as well.
In defense to battle royal players jumping into overwatch. (or tactical shooter like CS, valorant etc.) shroud said once after ha played for some time BR games, he's always aiming way to low (bcs you always look for stuff on the ground) so he needs some time again to get used to it.

5:00 is like the absolute definition of silver decision making. hears the genji ult in a smaller, cramped room during the team fight, decides to walk straight in in turret with hardly any sight lines on the enemy team (that's hiding behind a giant wall) and only backs up when the whole team swings around to finish him off. no way this man is pred
I guess espacially Overwatch is pretty hard to learn cause you have 40+ Maps inclusive all the healthpacks, all the flanking paths and much much more and then the cherry on the top everything i soooo situational its just pretty damn fucking hard (maybe also a reason why every OW1 Player has a massive advantage against new OW2 Players)
The Aim was kinda pretty fine BUT and thats the thing - he is very slow in the thinking process and also the execution. its just a many things we as players need to know (every fucking ability in the game and how it will interact with every other ability too). keep grinding if you have fun - and then we will see if elo hell exists

Ow is mostly high pressure situations. Apex you have the space the movement and your fighting less people at a time.
I smurf CONSTANTLY and it's insanely difficult to even go below Gold 1. It's very, very hard. Especially when the game knows I smurf and puts me into "winner's queue" where I can afk and win. You have to try your absolute hardest to be in silver.
As soon as I heard he only has 30 hours and this is supposed to be an elo hell video...I immediately did not care at all anymore.
I'm so disappointed we didn't get to see his stats for those matches.. I wanted to see the dmg/accuracy. This guys had to have an accuracy of 15% on Soldier.

I've played Apex since season 1. Was hardstuck Diamond from season 3 to season 8. Then hardstuck masters each season until like season 15 then stopped playing ranked
Was hardstuck silver in ow1. Quit when apex came out and now hardstuck gold 3-1 in dps in overwatch 2
So all that FPS Experience in apex became the equivalent to going up 1 rank in overwatch 😂
im diamond on my main, and I played with my gf today.... shes silver, and there was def 2-3 smurfs working together. and those silver games seemed harder than my diamond games.

As someone who hit Masters in OW1 and Masters in Apex. The skills are VERY transferable. Apex you need Great aim and game sense/positioning. Overwatch depending on the character Aim is just as important most of the time (He plays high skill aim characters so yes.) Games sense is definitely just as important in OW2 too. The one thing that OW2 has that I think is harder to learn / transfer quickly is Meta. Which comps to play and how to counter pick effectively. There is no way that dude was Pred. He either bought a boost, cheated, or played on console. Or just lied.
Also whoever said Apex is more forgiving to solo players, has not played enough apex. xD

Every comp game I play I sit around diamond and stop tryharding. If you're good at games you just are. For example my peak is mid masters and I could probably get low gm if i was dedicated but I cba. The skills are definitely transferable, especially in fps
thats true, me and my friends fuck around in high gm lobbies bc we can stack now. i played ow since it came out and branched to other games when i got bored, i played apex and the first season i played in season 16 i hit masters and the same season after that. your aim in fps games will transfer to other fps shooter based games. for example, apex, overwatch, call of duty, destiny 2 or destiny 1, and etc…

I know I am not pro material but I get quite high rating when I try to. Some people can never get out of bronze, silver etc. They either don't try to learn or they're just not good at games.
Some skills do transfer but playing a game like CoD or R6 or even Apex and then playing OW. Its completely different. You gotta know the hitboxes and there are just a lot of fast-moving heros in OW in general. I cant play OW at a decent level on PC. Im plat/diamond but once in a while. Just one of those days i turn into some god and then reality snaps back the next day.
Im not justifying his play style but the game is different than other games and in some ways i think its harder. Like Cod to CS:Go
I’ll just let you know I was diamond in Valorant, was plat in OW before the rank reset, and now am hardstuck gold. Aiming isn’t the problem in OW2, it is definitely DPS not being good enough to carry deadweight teammates consistently.

Jay got duped by a liar. This guy isn't a predator in apex. Even if he "stopped caring" like he said in the beginning, some of the skills will transfer over between games because that's how having mechanical skill works. You don't just magically lose your ability to aim and make all the wrong decisions just because the game is different.
