- I'm very curious about how the story in HI3rd Part 2 is going. I'm watching this in hopes that the story will hook me like before. Just a quick reaction video.

Glad to see you cheking it out! Part 2 had a rough start, which deterred many people from further progressing through the story. Chapter 1 is arguably a slog to get through because of constant exposition dumps, but it gets a lot better as you go through the arc. Chapter 3 of Part 2 was for me one of the best Chapters in HI3. (Part 1 included) If you decide to check it out, prepare yourself cause it's going to be a long ride. But worth it for the conclusion IMO! Wish you the best, Chaotik! :D

Maybe in ur next part 2 vid, address the complains for chapter 3 that the way the main cast solved the crisis is “power of friendship” cuz its not, it drives me insane.😊
The story keeps getting better as you play through every Act
My biggest complain here is the fact that this arc didn't get dedicated song. Vocal songs always have been strong point for honkai, but this time around there is none. Which is sad, considering that HSR got like 4 for Penacony arc.
This is only the first arc, i think they're reserving it for the future arc
It currently isn't even at the climax of the first arc I believe. I would find it impossibly hard to believe that MiHoyo would not release an animated short + vocal song for the first arc of part 2, which they hyped up a lot. The title doesn't even say animated short, it just says cutscene.
@@tripokia7600 Langqiu crisis is resolved, next one most likely will be another bubble universe of Mars, which i believe gonna count as another arc.

Also a little bit spoiler for you, the upcoming chapter 3-EX (in the 7.6 update) drops a NUCLEAR lore bomb about all the shits happened before, and the story just goes from 0 to 100 real quick after that. Until now I'm still processing all that lore bomb, it's just... goddamn insane
Part 2 has allot of yapping and harconcept stuff if you dont understand it already. either way second half gets better and the ending is pretty great, there is like one scene that really stands out to me with Sonque it has some top tier voice acting. Characters only start making sense in second half, altough the ending was great and second half to, i wasnt really a big fan and think it could have been done better.

All those doomers out there copy pasting about yapping. As if Honkai was never about big lore dump at the start of each arc. It's time for you to stop expecting an arc to be one chapter + climax directly. If reading a VN style is too boring for you then go play some AAA mindless game.
There is nothing hard to grasp in Part 2 chapter 1 nor anything boring. You're just being picky about anything because your precious Trio isn't getting milked uselessly.
Part 2 has been a fkn blast. My favorite Arc so far (not even finished, 3/EX, coming). Behind Salt Snow and Elysium
on part 2 chapter 1 is the worst because of lore dump but after that chapter 2 getting good and so on
btw chapter 3 have the best boss fight in the game so far

It still is tho, give P2 some time to cook lol. What we had in P1 was not achieved in 1 or 2 years, it took them 6 years to reach that point.

@@AngelGVC8620 honestly ? My problem with P1 was the excessive amount of exposition dump. They used very complicated language and terminologies to explain simple concepts, like how they did during the moon arc. Ppl ultimately could understand it, but the way they present the concept could be done better imo.

Hi3rd without animated shorts is like pgr without good bosses and arknights without drip.
They never mentioned that they'll stop making 2d animated cutscenes.

It's been a year. This isn't a case like other gacha games where animations are something the devs do during special occasions.
Hi3rd animated shorts are mandatory in the end of arcs. That's what highlights the chars at their peak . Without it,majority of the impact from the arc is gone.
So many missed opportunities of seeing HorB ,FoV,Griseo and vita in animated short form but no.......
@@kallenlivesmatter3229 They usually only do it when it's at the climax. This is definitely not the climax since it just shows a tiny bit of dialogue after the cutscene and did not even conclude the Langqiu arc. Would be a HUGE waste if MiHoyo does not add an animated short + vocal for the first arc of Part 2 (I believe that they have enough common sense to know that).
Honestly, just to get there is a struggle with how chapter 1 is played out. Many players have been complaining about the story ever since the launch of part 2. Chapter 2 apparently gets better, and the recent chapter is good.
I already quit, so I don't know how good the story is. All I know is that the UI is still half cooked, the menu is still confusing, and plenty of other small issues that build up to become a big issue.
I'm an old ass player with 2000+ days and it's sad to see this game fall from grace. 2021 - 2022 was peak for Hi3.

I agree i already quit this game since the start of part 2 i just couldn't get into it the new trio didn't interest me at all compared to Kiana,Mei,Bronya and the story wasn't that good as it once was i was already losing interest in the story since the elysia arc and i wasn't a big fan of kiana moon arc but I was fine with it cause i love Kiana and the rest but I wasn't interest at all in part 2 story.
Also i agree with you 2021-2022 was peak Honkai! To this day Otto's arc is still my favorite.
Same here, another 2000+ days capt. I do agree that the whole everlasting flames arc is still unbeatable to this day. But rmb that it did take the game 5 whole years to reach that peak, a story 5 years in the making so to say. Meanwhile, they are able to achieve this level of story just at the beginning of P2, imo they will surpass what P1 had offered us in the long run.
I was rather uninterested and disappointed too when they revealed P2 back then, it truly looked lifeless and boring at start, and it almost made me quit the game. But I am glad that I was proven wrong, it is actually pretty solid for a start of a new storyline.
@@blazetrinity9462 Im a Elysia flame chaser arc disliker but yea this seems pretty accurate part 1 has super rough start and only gets good in like second half the only saving grace are Thelma and Sonque because their character are pretty clear with their interactions being nice, later half is good because it stops beating around the bush and starts making sense. Sonque is like the main focus and only saving grace of the arc.
Honestly main cast need more time to cook and develop on their own instead of throwing us in the middle of world ending scenario.
Hi3rd part 1, kiana's part, started off pretty slow as well, so i think we should see what they cook up in a few months before complaining tbh

Meh, felt like another power of friendship moment , I`m really tired of this pattern after playing the game for 2+ years(and following it for 4 years). I`m happy for those who play the game tho, since apparently lots of people are downloading the game again. For me, I will never return again as long it has that much power creep and those bosses that are tailor made for the new characters.
Someone hasn't read anything then. There is no friendship there. + skill issue. Meta only matters in Nirvana
