7:14 - I am so glad to hear someone else talk about how many hotels are being built or renovated using a mixed modern/retro vibe. It works sometimes but when it fails, it fails spectacularly. We stayed at a new hotel recently in the States and it was similar to The Standard. Wasn't a fan. Sadly, we did not have a terrace-tub. But we did have a door that opened easier than yours. 🤣🤣🤣🤣
ohhhh!! love it!!! but that view....postcard worthy!! perfect place for that kind of photo or a typical tourist photo!! if i ever make it to London, def staying in a hotel with a balcony
Please don't tell me what to do before you look up what the UK government rules are around masks. And please remember this is a video... just because you didn't see me wearing a mask doesn't mean I didn't.
Chill. I told this for your own good. I am not lecturing you. I know the rules by UK government but the scientific evidence still says wearing masks help. Anyways up to you.
Not sure if you’ve done this or not, but sometime could you talk about family friendly hotels in London that have two queen sized beds or at least a queen/king and a sofa bed? Seems like they are really hard to find in London. Just curious how most families with kids do it without having to get two adjoining rooms. I’ve found only a few that are decently priced so far. Thanks.
It's not common in London or really in Europe to have two full eds so you're likely going to have to do a private hostel room, or a room that you can ask for a cot if you have one kid. Otherwise, two adjoining rooms or a suite should do the trick.
Can you do a review with the Mondrian London? I booked my hotel there for my 5 day stay but ended up canceling and staying somewhere else. Kinda regret it.
Love and London Def thought you were getting sponsorship/partnership from these hotels for marketing/views. Once The Mondrian London is fully open with all its amenities/bars we can def talk about getting you a review there then. Thank you and appreciate your videos.
Hello! I know it has been awhile, but I thought that there was a more recent video (in the past year) where you talked about a service that can help you find a flat with online tours and walk through's, can you please tell me the name of the service? I want to move there for a few months starting at the end of the year. Or maybe you have another suggestion? Thanks!
Hmmmm not one that does just virtual tours. Don't take a flat until you've actually seen it in person. Watch this video for help: ruclips.net/video/ALHd7xotT4c/видео.html&t
The terrace is amazing but it is just ridiculous how small a junior suite for 500£ a night in London still is when you know in which places you can stay for that amount of money elsewhere. It is a shame that a city like this is that expensive for hotels. For example in Vienna you will get for 400£ a suite with a terrace and at least 70m² in the most luxe 5 star hotels. Compared to this this suite in london looks like a 100£ hotel room if there wouldn't be the stunning terrace with the tub. But maybe it is also because of the interior design that it doesn't look that luxe for that amount of money. Your series during this pandemic is awesome and I hope you can enjoy all your nights at those hotels and even you are filming still feel a bit relaxed.
London is just a really expensive place for hotels because the demand is usually there and it's just an expensive city. The size of the room was actually huge for London standards lol! Thanks so much for watching!
As mentioned above, it's actually a sizeable room by the standards that are typical in London, this is the case for a lot of large cities, hotels tend to be quite small for a relatively expensive price. Major cities also have extremely inflated hotel prices, I'd even recommend an Airbnb instead in a lot of major cities that charge through the ass like London, LA, Paris, New York City, etc.
So many areas of London to get to know!! Magical city. Can’t wait to visit again! ❤️🇬🇧❤️🇬🇧
SO many... London is so huge
Though I'm more of a Premier Inn guy, I find the overview of the boutique hotels to be interesting. I'm liking this series. Thanks for the video.
Thanks so much Juan, really glad to hear it!
Great video !! One of my favourite locations in London
Thanks Alex!
The view is Mesmerising ❤😍
Great views! Yeah, the styles in the hotel were... confusing. 60s vibes and country perhaps? Cool vid!
Thanks for watching Matias :)
Loved it 👏🏼👏🏼
Thanks Robert, thanks for watching!!

I actually called down and asked for help... but I eventually got it 🤦🏽♀️
Love the view 🥰

King's Cross used to be a very unsavoury area not so long ago. Amazing how much it's changed.

Love the place. New friend here
The views are amazing and Thanks for the tour. Please wear a mask while you're out.

@@srisairamanan in her videos she seems to be sweet but in reality it's quite different isn't it?
Very interesting! I go by this building everyday to work! But this is my last week of my job! So maybe will pop in for last day drink?
Good plan!!
wew. . . been a while 😊☕️☕️

Perhaps the missing cushion was to encourage social distancing.
😂😂😂😂 who knows
I was just thinking that looks like the old Camden Town Hall.... a very drab building when it was the Town Hall...
haha yes that's the one!

Absolutely, if you're footing the bill. I'm broke after filming this series and paying for all of these rooms 🤦🏽♀️

Anyone else think Jess looks like Teresa Mendoza from queen of the south? 🤔😍

@@loveandlondon thank you. Maybe it was another youtuber 🤷🏻♀️
If you were wearing what would be considered normal tub attire.....would that be an issue? AKA, can people see you in the tub?
If there is someone on the terrace next to yours then yes!
"the service wasn't good ? "
Long wait ?
Unfriendly services ?
Also, do you have a list of things that you rate the hotels on ?

note very big but nice view :)
Big room by London standards.

That decor is not worth 500 pounds.
Not one 'amazing......AND THE HOTEL AIN'T BAD EITHER' comment.
The internet's all grown up, I'm so proud 😂
It's not... I had to delete many creepy comments.
@@loveandlondon Oh s***! Sorry to hear that but keep up the good work. I watch these videos and I've lived in London all my life. Great channel. 👍👊
Yeah, no.
Aint no body watch this!
