@@keinnamegefunden1 Do you follow Stadium Muay Thai? Yeah that's what I thought. Rodtang isn't even the best in his weight class, he got schooled by Rungkit.
@@stormrevenant yea but rodtang has that never ending pressing game and he looked absolutely amazing against Smith. Very different start to what we normwlly see if Rodtang keeps evolving like this, he will be almost unbeatable.

Naito was well-conditioned to stand up to SL. He did very well in only one area consisting of countering the leg kicks. He successfully annoyed SL. In the clinch, he could only defend and still got beat up. SL dominated Naito at so many levels.
The way superlek throws his kicks and knees is just terrifying, I can’t wait for his match against Goncalves

Idk how you can even get into ONE, let alone the World Muay Thai GP… and have any clinch game. Naito looks like an Ammy at some points.
It’s like that sometimes. Many gyms or most gyms outside of Thailand dont train the clinch. You’ll see that from American and other Western fighters too, get drowned out in the clinch

Every clinch Naito turn his back isn’t legal in Mauythai? When you get clinch you need to fight or try to go out of clinching range but you can do that.
It is legal to attack their back. In fact, clinching from behind scores very highly in thailand because it shows such dominance and control of the fight.
I do believe, however, that it's unsporting to attack the kidneys, spine, back of the head etc. Superlek was kneeing the kidneys here; perhaps it was an "all's fair in love and war" kind of thing.
@@finalscore2983 No if you turn back when you get clinch Ref will stopped because you can’t fight with knees elbows sweep. It’s like you holding for stop not clinch for fight.
@@ChaseBoxingShade That's from the perspective of the less dominant person in the clinch. If the more dominant person can use it to deal damage and keep it dynamic, there's no reason to break up the clinch.

Muaythai should be a clinch fight. Show your skill knees elbows sweep. But holding and turn back it's illegal
If you see fight in Thailand like Lumpinee or Ratchadamnoen Thai fighter can’t do that thing. If you do many times like Naito did. The referee can end the fight. and you will lose

In thai the number 9 is pronounced 'gao'. Hence the full pronunciation of the gym name being 'kiatmoo-gao'
