Great vlog did morning flight going to Thailand at Heathrow going back did the midnight flight. Found it better back April. Doing it again over Christmas
Sad to see you leave Thailand, but really do enjoy your to and from flight vlogs. Next time, treat yourself to a lounge visit....the 3 hour wait will fly past!
How long was your stay in thailand ?,. I’ve never done the night flight back to uk, but I usually do the night flight out to TH from Lhr ,I hope the food was good on the flight ?, I managed to stretch a planned 90 day stay in TH to 222 days on my last trip, nov 23rd 2022 to July 4th 2023 I did it on a 60 day tr Evisa extended by 30 days and a couple of border bounces with extensions on both of them, plus the 45 day visa exempt was running then to,. I was hoping for a uk friendly 90 day visa exempt to happen, but no, just the Russians getting preferential treatment,.! Ffs,.cheers,,
@@Blackinthailand I think that is probably about right. Only need about one change of clothing for a holiday in Thailand and everything else you can buy (cheaper !) out there ! No need for a heavy suitcase and makes it much easier to get around !😂😂 By the way, Welcome back to You Tube. You have not posted a vlog for a long time 👍
I;m somewhat lost here...your upload of 31st May is on RUclips displayed on smart tv but not laptop for some reason....the £500 one way ticket......I was trying to ask on that video (but can do here anyway) did you have any issues with ground handling at Heathrow at check in over that one way ticket ?? Or did you have an onward ticket (somewhere) anyway ?? I ask as I took that same flight and one way but despite having multi entry visa I was offloaded at check in until I could buy an onward ticket.....clearly they weren't going to be satisfied with one of these "fake" $15 onward tickets and openly told me so so ending up wasting £58 (which wasnt too bad) getting cheapest Vietjet flight I could find out within first 60 days !
I did and online check in on the Thai airways website, printed boarding pass myself at Heathrow then went to bag drop. So I didn't have to interact with any staff who would question the one way ticket. Back drop staff just weigh you bag and tag it. Once landed I wasnt questioned at Bangkok. But I had a online ticket book with onwardticket.com/ It only cost $16 and was "just incase" Maybe it was just circumstance and wasn't questioned that time?
The passport number used to book the flight. I checked in via the Thai Air website and then only needed to print my own boarding pass on a self-service terminal. At this point, you need to scan your passport. So no need to see anybody and hand over your passport. Then when I landed I got a stamp in my passport as usual.
@@Blackinthailand Yes of course similar to Singapore 3 years ago at T2 where there was no real interaction with staff other than supervising self bag scanning etc....I actually "know" your face from Thailand "somewhere" probably pattaya lol.....just faces that we come across on occasions

I have used a lounge service at Bangkok a few times. But some of it is wasted on me as I can drink alcohol before a flight.
Hope your well Ian , love the reviews of travel day a form favourite
Glad you enjoyed it
Did you come home with an empty satchel?
I was just under 7kg carry on
Don’t think that’s what was meant 😅

That trip was 2 weeks. The flight shown is the early landing in Heathrow which I prefer.
How can you travel internationally with just carry & more importantly why. I need clothes
Easy. Don't need to take things like shower gel and don't need a lot of clothes.

Maybe but I haven't been to Pattaya for a few years.
