    Determinant evaluated across any row or column is same. If all the elements of a row (or column) are zeros, then the value of the determinant is zero.

    what is determinant really

    • @InfinityLearn_NEET
      @InfinityLearn_NEET  8 лет назад +26

      It tells us the numerical value of a square matrix. The determinant tells us things about the matrix that are useful in systems of linear equations, helps us find the Inverse of a Matrix, and is also useful in calculus and more.

      Determinant of a Matrix is a unique number . Determinant of a Matrix is written as |A| or det(A)

      It uses to solve the linear Equations and it tells us that what is in the matrix i.e about various things in it

    You should watch 3blue1brown’s Essence of Linear Algebra to comprehend the definition of a determinant. Most channels give a plain, vague definition with boring calculations, which is not helpful, like this video.

    I can understand for 2x2 matrix it comes from solving the 2variable linear equation by elimination of one variable.... But what is the intuition in calculating the determinant 3×3 matrix .... ?Why it is calculated some puzzling say....? What is the concept behind this...? When I try to calculate the determinat using eliminaton method variable I do not get right answer..... Could you explain.....?
