Is it just me or is this way better than the studio version Edit: the reason it sounds different is because 1: it’s in a higher key and 2: Jacks usually tends to sing like this live
I think it’s more that the mics aren’t specifically geared towards picking up the bass that’s in the studio version, like why your voice tends to sound higher/squeakier recorded than when you’re talking to yourself
As someone who had to sing ‘Bang’ on a professional stage this year (after being a fan for multiple years) I know how hard it can be to differ from the original lyrics so as not to curse, so props to them for that. Amazing album. Adam, jack, Ryan, I love your work! Edit: I should mention, the directors of the show i performed in did have permission to use bang in the show
They have been my favorite band since 2017, at one time, I was in the top 1% of listeners, and I was literally front and center at a concert 2 years ago. It makes me so proud to see them never give up and get the fame they so much deserve. If you haven't seen them in concert, do it. Its an experience!

Discovered AJR by accident when they opened for CHVRCHES in 2017. I can't believe how far they've come. My mom said she wishes they were still unknown so they could play smaller and more intimate venues still, lol. Love them so much!!
I remember July 2022 and me being so pumped staying up late to watch them perform I Won't on here, and now a long time later the albums finally out! I love ya AJR, and the album fucking slaps♥️

Thing I love about AJR is how unique their music is sounds you never hear in music this is such a great song
You can see that Jack is instinctively about to jump and spin around, but then he sees how little space he has 😭
