  • WELL THIS WAS DIFFERENT ! Totally dissimilar to what i have ever previously ridden and admittedly at first i wasn’t keen on the look or design , i’ve seen them around and didn’t really admire the style but after actually using one for a few weeks now it’s a game changer for me especially how comfortable it is to ride
THIS BIKE WAS SENT TO ME FOR FREE BY ENGWE TO TEST AND REVIEW , ALL OPINIONS ARE MY OWN

    Hi ya Mike and Kirsty.
Wow nice size tyres Mike. Look like you were really enjoying yourself.
On our fold up electric bike we had magnets on the rear wheels to hold them together when folded.
Just think how big the fish and chips you can get on that rack.
Brilliant vlog buddy, love to Kirsty.
    Stay safe.
    Pete and Su.

Great review and bike! The fat tyres are great for me as I’m no good on a normal bike 😆 Now there is no excuse for you and Kirst not to share the fish and chip run🤣🤣

Hi Mike, nice bike and a great review.
Ideal for off road and about a campsite but with that large motor it wouldn't be road legal in the UK.

Hi they are fitted with a limiter to 25klms ph as that one was , grey area there i reckon , might be worth emailing the uk company that distributes them for a more appropriate explanation , these e-bikes seem to have taken off in the last few years more and more appearing by the month !

Very good review Mike, thank you. 👍🏼
That bikes a bit of a beast eh! Definitely on my hit list….
How did you find the uphill performance? Did it lag at all on a big hill??
    Thanks, Steve

hi steve to be honest i’m in the flattest part of the UK and the nearest hill is 30 miles away 😂 . but i will be taking it with us on some trips and will report back cheers for watching 👍

Nicely done. Quite like those chunky tires. I'd love to see campsite hiring out electric bikes to save lugging them around.

Not sure about the bike it’s a bit of a beast and I still like my little folding Brompton but the video was amazing. Great photography, great editing, great music, you did a great job. All you need now is a chippy sponsorship. Thanks for sharing one of the best bike reviews I’ve seen.

    • @TheFrenchiesMotorhomechannel

hi sylv yes a chippy sponsorship would be perfect 👍 😂 it was a bit of a beast that bike , first bike i’ve used with the long handle bars but i ended up liking it , thanks for appreciating the efforts that go into these videos
      all the best
      mike 👍

You might be aware that we have two full size ebikes 28in wheels etc and if we're ever going to buy other ebikes we'd definitely go smaller as ours are great for long rides but in truth we only do shorts ride and the size just makes them harder to transport, ie putting them on the bike rack, taking the front wheel off to get them in the back of the car etc, so I'm a fan of that style, smaller wheels smaller frame, I thought that was a cool looking funky bike kinder the jeep version of the bike world, 36kg though ours are 25kg with battery in place 22kg removed and they are akward to lift in and out of the car at odd angles, also when you fold them and try to put them in and out of a car boot for example you get the tyres and chain filth on your clothing, as I say I'm a fan of that style but the weight will be an issue in more circumstances than you'd imagine as I think it's fair to say ebikes are aimed at the older person, would I have one absolutely I would I just wouldn't transport it, maybe you could do a quick vlog with Kirsty loading it into a car boot not a Berlingo boot 🤣, or the side door of the van whilst folded, but as I say I'm a fan and it was a honest fair review, another enjoyable vlog keep them coming 👍.

hi Stephen , i mentioned to kirsty she should make a video of her lifting that bike in and out of a car or motorhome as to show people how it would actually be , however , the answer i got cannot be repeated on here and sounded like a dialect of spanish , very fast and much to the point and rather loud , so i swiftly took that as a no and moved on … i’ll tell her it was your idea 😂😂 the bike was great i really enjoyed riding it , but it was bigger than it looked and surprised me when i unboxed it , totally agree they can be a back breaker when folding and awkward , something i should have mentioned , a first time for me in that style but rather liked it once i got used to it , it’s nice being upright and was a comfortable ride , a lot of messing around taking the front wheel off and storage and weight would be annoying , but anyone with a garage & plenty of payload , great 👍
thanks again stephen always appreciate your support of the channel
      mike & kirsty 👍

    • @TheFrenchiesMotorhomechannel
      @TheFrenchiesMotorhomechannel  11 месяцев назад

no definitely too heavy for a door mounted bike rack , fine with the tow-bar bike rack or a coachbuilt garage , we would have to travel with it in our van tightly secured at the rear between the seats
