Thats a proper restoration. It looks better than new. Well done. Was this baler built in England. I used to work for a NH dealership that owned the old baler factory site in Aylesbury.
Did you have to have the decal set custom made or where you able to find a complete decal set to purchase from New Holland or some other source? Your restoration is extremely impressive.....
Hi Gerard The decals are remade in a top quality UV resident material. I made the design and a company converted it into a vector file. Have a good one. Markus
at 1:14 a rope is pictures that runs from the front inside to the baler and terminates on a aluminum cylinder, whats it for. I am going to try and make bales with one of these, currently the pto spins but the fly wheel will not move I can move it a couple inches in either direction by hand and it moves the bale maker (?) the slidy thing inside ever so slightly, I have no ropey thing can you help?
Hi David This rope is to lift up the pick up if not needed. About the flywheel: AT about 1.33 where the PTO flanges to the flywheel, the are 2 spring loaded bolts witch engage in just operating direction. Sorry for my bad english. That is something like an overrunning coupling.... Cheers Markus
Dad had a Hayliner 69 back in the 60's when I was young whipper snapper....fantastic restoration!!
Hi Gerard
Thank you ! I'm waiting for next summer to bale another 1500 like this year.
Have a good time. Markus

Hi Andrew
Thank you!! I'm looking forward to the next season!! :-) Regards Markus
Beautiful sheen on that "showroom clean" machine. I doubt my NH S69 is even related, as it's patina looks so very different!
Excellent restoration, lots of details, perfect. Please if you know the dimensions of plunger bearing? Thank you.
Thank you!! About the plunger bearings: Try ebay.com 688282 Ford New Holland Hay Baler Plunger Roller Bearing. Good luck. Markus
