These ladies live next to a railroad track and have been locked in there house all winter. I want to feel bad for them although I feel this has brought more people together then upset people. I was concerned about the ambulance that was trying to get through last weekend however.... I bet these people don't even realise this keeps people off main street and the hoonigans in one spot. This is good community bonding and its been the only thing keeping us sane for the past few months. Go embrace the cruise instead of complain about the noise.
Ms. Johnson sounds like a real peach. You are not the only one that had to sit through a long winter. We all did. I'm sorry you feel inconvenienced for part of 1 day a week, but to counter, there are more than 6 and a half other days of the week that you get to enjoy the peace and quiet you are talking about. A lot of the people behind the cruise, as well as participants, do their best to police the situation, and ensure that bad apples aren't causing a ruckus, but we can't be everywhere. IMHO I have a feeling that speaking your concerns the way you did could cause an uptick in the bad activity just to tick you off.
