By far the most intimate, emotional nighttime show I've ever seen Disney produce. They got it absolutely right for Paris. The tech is also so much improved. Wow.
I wonder did the guy who got promoted have a hand in this before he left? The fountains also look a bit larger than I remember. The low level only fireworks are much less of a handicap with the drone additions.
Wonderful show. I was there for the premiere, just in front of this location, and the atmosphere was electric. The original music makes the whole presentation quite emotional. Great job, Disneyland Paris!
So much better than illumination, but can we talk about the guy who put the song "remember me" from coco with ellie and bambie's mother ? this guy is a sadist :D
Vraiment superbe !!
Disneyland Paris is currently trying to reduce their annual fireworks consumption ! Compared to other Disneyland parks in the world, Disneyland Paris is very close to homes, people who have been subjected to the incessant noise of fireworks every evening for over 20 years.
People are saying its so good, but its not. If you stand in a crowd of 5,000+ people, pay 100EUR + and most of the display is water fountains and drones you would be let down. Ticket prices go UP, CX goes down.... Orlando is holding onto the experience slightly, but its also going downhill quickly. Stand at the back of the crowd after a 12hr day in the park and watch this. Youll see nothing other than lights, drones and the odd firework
Drones are a super expensive ongoing cost though... The investment in all-new projectors (and many more of them) also can't exactly be called part of a budget cut. In any case, despite all this, the show deliberately focuses on emotional immersion and classic Disney nostalgia, and it does it well, we can acknowledge that creative success without defending Disney's commercial strategies as a company.
disneyland paris has always had to have less fireworks due to its proximity to other towns. the fact they are investing so much money into the drones and projections to compensate for it is a good thing. and the drones are very impressive in person
Calling this a budget cut, especially for paris is just not accurate. The music alone sounds so expensive and they went out of their way write an original score. They used a real orchestra, a full choir, multiple soloists and wrote a unique theme. This is in contrast to Illuminations that was basically entirely borrowed from SHDR. It's also worth noting that pyrotechnics create a lot of fallout and waste, so it's certainly better from an environmental viewpoint to use less pyro and more drones. DLP has absolutely cut corners before but I don't think they did here.
@@ipdvb4853 very true, it could do with a smidge more pyro in a few key places in the first half - but overall I don't imagine this was a cheap show to produce. From what I heard, it took 1.5 years to put together, pyro launch sites were moved around, all those Main Street projectors are new - and many, many powerful new skytracer lights purchased and installed at the castle, in the plaza, and seemingly on the Main Street roofs as well... let alone the animation work, and music recording (studio + orchestra).
You don't just see magic you feel it... Because we are budget cutting fireworks and you have to enjoy all the blank space. Also it harps on about story but has none. Just montages. Very poor
Disneyland Paris was recently sanctioned for its excessive use of fireworks !! Compared to other parks in the world, it is very close to homes that have been subjected to the incessant noise of fireworks every night for over 20 years
@PixieDust18 insane as it was built on farm land and the houses after.. but that's french planning and laws for you. Also I believe Disney also use unique shells that are Launceston by compressed air so it's better environmentally and quieter.
@@Keith-wd5eyair launched fireworks are only used for certain specific shells in certain shows that need specific timing to work. In general, DLP uses more conventional fireworks. Also, the ALF system doesn't really reduce the noise that much: the explosion in the sky is still going to make noise. The reason for using ALF in shows like Wishes and Illuminations at Epcot was more to do with timing as it allows very precise ignition.

The best show I’ve seen never thought I’d say that over Disney 30th illuminations. We cried at the end tonight so emotional
I wonder did the guy who got promoted have a hand in this before he left? The fountains also look a bit larger than I remember. The low level only fireworks are much less of a handicap with the drone additions.
After seeing illuminations when i went to paris 2 years ago, i now have to go back to see this. Thanks for sharing

The point of view from main street is even better
Agreed
the reflection X out there combo came out of NOWHERE and it ABSOLUTELY ATE
Vraiment superbe !! Surtout la partie sur le Roi Lion avec ces musiques, waw ! MAIS … le final est clairement loupé et il manque cruellement de pyrotechnie et de drones
bonjour je suis d accord la fin est un flop
Nice touch adding 'He lives in you' and 'We Don't Talk About Bruno'
👍👍👍👍👌👌👌👌
The Buzz lightyear and WALL-E scenes was amazing!
Wow so beautiful ❤ and your video is so awesome, thanks for sharing the magic ❤
wow, that show ist aaaawsome. Powerfull, emotionally, i love it
Thanks for filming!!!!✨✨✨✨✨
Love so much the buzz lightyear part !
This Is 100 Time better than Disney Illuminations so Far (Top 1 Is still "Disney Dreams!")
I prefer Disney illuminations slightly over this but Disney dreams is still the best show I’ve ever seen
Omg we love it ❤
Does anyone know who is singing "how far i'll go"? love how they mixed it with the male vocal singing "go the distance" genius
The animation looks like it's had the smoothing set way too high.
Yea that was dope af.
Impresionante

I have to watch at home because I’m not there but it’s almost like illuminations but with drones and I just can’t. I’m still for Disney Dreams
Impressive use of effects and projections and great use of drones but would've love to see more fireworks used

@PixieDust18 screams Disney trying to be cheap
Anybody in the US watching this thinking this is what Luminous was going for?
Absolutely impeccable- I cannot wait to see it in person 🥲
Amazing !!!
does anyone know the song title at 14:49?
"He lives in you" inspiration from the movie The Lion King 2 ;)
He lives in you 😁
The drones are removed from the show?
Can someone please tell me what she says after “you have it, in your heart…”
Does anyone know the end song name?
it calls "live in magic"
If anyone knows the final song name please let me know. Can't find it anywhere
it calls "live in magic" :)
Why do they never put the hyenas from the Lion King in the castle?
Takes a long time to get going.
Good, but the momentus show at Disneyland Hong Kong is far better, more emotional
Mucho mejor Disney dreams
Ich hatte kaum Emotionen beim ansehen der neuen Show. Bei Disney Dreams hatte ich sogar über Videos viele und tiefe Emotionen....Schade!
Cinderella's Castle at Walt Disney World: 👁👄👁
😭 HAHA
mouais on retrouvera jamais la grandeur de dreams

Fireworks are really not European guest favorite’s
@JeanOgier-x1b I'd very much disagree. Why do they go out on Bastille day? I think with that argument you could say the same for drones.
