Everything will very likely remain the same. I work for one of the Ivies, and it sent an email to all faculty members about recent changes wrt affirmative action. The main implication is that we value diversity and should continue our current practices. To be honest, there's always a way to justify actions, so I don’t think the Ivies will take further measures

I think college application is more like you trying to rizz a girl, your income or height will sure be an important indicator for her, but she might pick you over other rich dude if you can just make her feeel more attracted to you, Pete Davidson would be a perfect life example for that, you want to be Pete in your college application. But that's for high schooler to 4 years university, I'm curious about 2 years community college students transferring to a 4 years college, how would that work? Is it still the same thing or it's just based on scores more? Many international students would do the same instead of applying after high school right away, they'd go to 2 years CC then transfer to 4 years uni.

美國頂尖大學的學生都是不只成績好，課外活動也很優秀。我男友是Stanford本科，我是UC Berkeley 的，除了要顧學校gpa之外真的還要做很多的課外活動。例如社團，volunteer, 競賽…跟台灣死讀書完全不同。真的很需要找顧問幫忙升學，可以更有規劃的知道自己什麼時間點要做什麼事，還有申請的essay 也真的很重要，可以讓考官看到你的personality

😮哇，看到14:40後看到，到頭來頂尖學校還是希望有基本成績，才能篩選，那前面一大段的論文，經驗，分享，志工活動還是沒有意義啊……沒時間讀書成績起不來，根本不可能會有家長，讓小孩去執行他想執行的項目吧。
正常啦，不然如果成績不要求的話，整個學校的質量一定開始下滑，但起碼人家沒有壓的那麼死
頂尖大學不意外吧，如果你是天才當然能兼具，台灣現在入學也差不多，要你的成績但也要你課外活動，有的人課外很精彩但成績不好，其實絕大多數學校還是不收，所以自己只能自己衡量，不過也是有人能兼具，看你怎麼安排拉
如同劉威前面說的，這些頂尖大學也不會想收一個連大學第一年的學業都無法通過的學生，因為這樣等於浪費了一個名額
他們要的就是在某個領域特別突出的人，如果你不是那些準天才型，那或許可以著重在發展自己的自律與時間管理，讓各項表現能直接凸顯出你在這個能力上的優勢，這或許是為什麼怎麼講都無法脫離成績吧，畢竟真正能夠約束自己的人會在知道學校在意這項指標的情況下，花一部分心力在成績上，並得到一定程度的回饋

與其付費給他們幫你處理一切事務，不如把這筆資金留給專業機構幫你修飾、潤色你的提交資料。
因為你到了國外還是得自己處理一切大小事務，再者你會發現自己申請基本上都是小事且很簡單的流程，就只是單純上傳要求的資料。
最後，遇到專業且負責任的代辦算你三生有幸，但大部分其實都沒啥好的服務態度跟準則。
這是你的人生大事，自己掌控一切因素，最後即使落榜也不會後悔。
