I really enjoyed this whole discussion and I loved the way they bounce off each other and are totally natural...

As always, I truly appreciate your analysis. With regards to Tucker, I don't believe that anything he ever does is an afterthought. I think it is all very strategic because I believe he thrives on controversy. He likes to make headlines, and the more outrageous the better. In fact, I think it's more important to him that being factual. Even court cases brought against him and Fox said that his show should have been looked at more as news entertainment and commentary rather than actual/factual news. That's why I've never really been a fan of his. I'd prefer to bring people together than get them all amped up. Joe, on the other hand, also says some pretty controversial stuff, but his approach seems much more thoughtful, and he seems to actually enjoy the process of digging in to see if we're coming to the right conclusions.

All cable news is not news but entertainment. It is the exact same defence MSNBC and Rachel Maddow used when they got sued.

I have the opposite take. I dont agree with him on a ton of things, but I appreciate him at least asking uncomfortable questions. Right, left, doesnt matter. The reason so many people like him is that he goes after them all. That used to be celebrated in this country. But we have gotten so hyper-politicized that its impossible now. Rogan is a staunch liberal on almost all things. The moment he came out against boys beating girls in his sport of choice (MMA) he got dragged through the coals because it didnt fit with the liberal narrative at that time. And thats scary. You are either all on board are not even allowed in the door as far as that goes.

I genuinely believe he was dog whistling and talking to a separate audience and using Joe Rogan to do so. Joe thought he was having a convo but Carlson was using him to peddle his extremist rhetoric. He’s the definition of someone who begets stochastic terrorism. Those that can hear him do. Those that don’t, don’t. Simple simple things I keyed in on…. “The color purple! There are SO many better films than that….” The color purple is a movie about a black woman’s experience in the early 1900s south. His total dismissal and scathing remarks about it really make me wonder. He says things like “I’m from San Francisco, but I can’t live there anymore because of all the….” Then he tapers off. That was intentional. Tucker operates with such precision. He disturbs me greatly. In Lex Friedman he speaks so glowingly about Koreans that it REALLY makes you wonder what he thinks about other races… ESPECIALLY considering his “great replacement” conspiracy he loves to tout. LOOK at the comments under many of his Twitter videos and posts. It’s simply vile white nationalist racism. As a linguistic expert.. I would really love to hear your opinion. His lex Friedman interview was very offputting. Tucker Carlson very subliminally dog whistles. The writing is on the wall….

There are two wars going on that we have nothing to do with other than being responsible in a way of starting one, and being forced to support both sides in the other. Your statement about to BS artists shows your hand and your bias. Joe is an average dude that talks to people of all walks of life. Tucker, like him or not, goes after the stupidity of both sides. If you watched the podcast he spends more time going after the right, who he is always said to be aligned with, than the left. This is literally 2 duds just talking about crap, yet you seem to have a problem with that. Says a lot about where you stand.

enjoyed your analysis. maybe you should put together a longer analysis, as In more than an hour; because we're here, ears cock, minds expanded/having been expanded/expanding from both small and large dosages of psilocybin ...
