Dying for another update on the v12 build! it has inspired me to build my own engine from 4 pocket bike engines utilizing a manual clutch 4 speed transmission from a pit bike.
Nice builds you sir are very talented indeed! I really liked the first engine you made with the 70cc cylinder but I wish you had made a dyno video on it (unless I missed it). The V12 engine looks like it's going to be a handful!
I think I went a bit to extreme on the port timing, and it seemed easy to stall at lower revs , And very difficult to start!, the v12 is low compression smooth power delivery on paper !
Thanks , The previous pink motor was 198kv/60 amp/42v/2.8kw , I was hoping for a bit more torque with the lower kv sensored motor I think it will be almost the same but better startup/pulling away.
@Chad Broussard i wouldnt build one for sale , im building one for my son .basically easy to do ... i can tell you real quick how i do it ,,, get the car you want and try not to pick a car that has to many curves ..get the full scale dimensions of it .... get yourself a go cart that is a 2 seater and has reverse , low to the ground dont get one thats all terrian ... then scale the real car you picked down to the size of your go cart and start cutting out cardboard body parts ... once there all cut out start to ducktape all the body parts together and then put it over your go cart to check for fit , do your adjustments ... once you got the fit turn the cardboard body upside down and brace as much as you can with wood so the cardboard body doesnt fold .next thing i do is get fiberglass and start to layer it ontop of the body let dry and then keep layering it till you get the thickness you desire ( the more the stronger ) once your done flip it back over remove the wood and hose it down the card board should just come right off ... sand it down and do a few repairs to get the details right ... and then just prime and paint ... and you do the same for a dashboard ,,start with cardboard get your shape then add fiberglass ....

@@scarlettsgarage1 you can actually get stiffer clutch springs for it and set the idle higher that might would help with the issues.

It would be so neat to make those cars remote controlled. Also then they could be a bit faster too.
Yep could do , would need some pretty big servos though, we've had 36 mph out of this one so far

Glad to see you back Stuart. Those kv ratings seemed really low until you said 10 cell :) I'm used to running 3S in my rc stuff with 3300kv motors

anyone know were i can find mini car rims ?? im building a lambo lp600 go cart and i need rims for it ...all i find is the typical go cart rims ..
You have to make them, if the wheels look wrong it spoils the whole car !

by the way i seen a Mercedes go cart using this technic sell for 18K on ebay years ago ...must of been a rich daddy and bought it for his daughter ...
